I booked a trip to DL for a few days in Disney just before Christmas. Now tell me that I'm not crazy and what I should expect. It's going to be my husband and our three kids (ages 6, 3, and 2). We're driving in to Anaheim on 19 Dec and staying off-site. We will have two days 20-21 in the park and then be leaving on the 22nd.
How bad will the crowds be, or will we be alright? I will add that I was the one that took my three kids to DL over spring break and survived so I'm hoping it will be no worse (crowd wise) than it was then.
Any information, and/or tips will be highly appreciated.

Never been there personally at that time, but based on everything I've read over the years on the boards, I would think it would be busy, but not nearly as busy as between Christmas and NYE. You shouldn't face park closures or anything like that, but I would predict it may be about as busy as you faced during Spring Break time.

Based on personal experience (we went last year the exact same dates 20 and 21 for 2 days, TR beneath), it is less crowded than Spring Break. It will get more crowded on Friday than Thursday. Lines shouldn't reach more than 60 minutes. I'd recommend seeing the left side of DL on the Thursday since FL and TL will already be crowded when you enter (you're aren't an EE guest) and then hop over to DCA in the afternoon. The good thing about going then is that the hours are long: 8-12, 10-9/10 and the entertainment is going in full swing.

Sorry to say but I went in 2000 from 12/21-22 and is was miserably crowded
People were not that friendly and I'm sure it was due to the crowds. CM were great though! Hopefully it won't be that way for you this year
