I'm so excited! :cool1: I booked our room today at RPR!

I was really bummed when I realized that we couldn't make our annual Disney trip. Available vacation time, DH's and kids' school, just weren't matching up to where we felt the amount of money we'd be forking over would be a good value for the short amount of time we had. :(

But then I started looking at the Universal Meal Deal, the ticket deal and the AAA discount ... and decided we'd do it! I haven't told my DH or the kids yet, I think I'll keep it a surprise for them. :woohoo:

Thanks to everybody who took the time to answer all my previous questions. :thumbsup2

We're going Aug 11 - 14 and, if there's interest, I'll post pictures and a mini-review once we get back.

Thanks again for everybody's help!! :thumbsup2

Have a blast - keep it a secret from the kids!!! :cool1: :cool1:  :cool1: :cool1:

This sounds like the Disney commercial, where the couple is checking rates, then the girl says, "$1600, we can do that." And the guy goes, "Oh Yeah"

That would be funny if Universal did a spoof on that commercial.

Anyway, you'll have a great time. There will be huge crowds, as it's the last week before Florida starts school. The tradeoff is that the parks stay open until 10pm, so you can do the two visit approach. Go early in the morning, back to the room in the afternoon, then come back at night.

Miss Nellie:

Yes, we are interested in TR WITH pix

and...welcome to the darkside :darth:

Excellent ~ Looking forward to hearing all about it.

We'll be there at the same time! We're going 8-10 to 8/24. We're so excited and I'm crossing the days off the calendar.
