I Did It.....i Did It.....i Did It...

I actually did it....after all of the complaining to my, friends, roommates and my friends here at the Dis I actually did it. As of 4pm today I became an official College Graduate. I now have a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performace with an Opera Emphasis from The Boston Conservatory. I am so glad to be done with school...but you know, as much as I complained, scratched and clawed my way through school I'm going to miss it. I never thought I'd say that, but I am. Actually, I think its that I'm going to miss all the people I met at school and became friends with. I'm the type of person that gets attatched to something and won't let go. I won't miss all the homework and B.S., but I will miss it. I just wanted to share this with all of my Dis friends. I know you guys have heard me complain a few times. Thanks for listening.

...a few years back at age 40, I decided to go back to school. A mom of 3 DS's, a subsitute teacher, and the "backbone" of my DH's business, it was NOT easy ~ all those research papers, exams, and projects took their toll. BUT IT WAS SOOOO WORTH IT!! So, I am heartfelt when I say:
