I am so excited. Please keep in mind that I just returned from DW only a week ago but I just got off the phone with the CM from making my next reservations to go to DW. YEAH! Only my fellow DIsers will understand. I picked up my pictures today and couldn't wait any longer to schedule my next trip. Now, if only I can wait till next February. Off to get a new ticker! YEAH!

CONGRATULATIONS.
And yes, we do completely understand!!!

So happy for you! Thats great news! Where are you staying and where did you stay?!?!?

:goodvibes

YAY!!!:cool1: I reacted that way when we returned....but it took me 3 months before i booked again! LOL Happy planning!!!

Thanks everyone! We stayed and are staying at FW. Even the CM was laughing at me when she pulled up our records. I told her that we loved our last site and she said (again laughing) that she would put that on our records as a request. Now let the countdown begin!

totally understand and did the same thing (although we were there in March and are going back for a mini trip in Oct.) Oh, and I am the only one who knows. It is a complete surprise to my family. Have fun doing your planning...after all that is half the fun!

We totally understand. We've got our big trip planned for July/August, then we've got 2 girl trips already on the books for December and March. We already know which week we're going next summer (all family), and we've tossed around the idea of a Thanksgiving 2008 trip, as well, for whoever wants to go. Enjoy your pictures and your good memories, and start getting ready for next time. That's the only way for a Diser to live! Join in our getting-ready-to-go fun over on the pre-trip board, if you'd like. Look for the thread by Brooklynnsmommy (my daughter) and join in on our trip as you wait for your next one.

Are you going to post your pictures? We always enjoy seeing everyone's pictures as we wait our turn to go.

MeMom, I would love to post my pictures but have never done so before. I will have to give it a try and see how things turn out. One guestion, I am a girl can I be included in the girls only trip???? Any excuse to go back right!!!
:rotfl:

I understand! We were there last July for 11 days and then did a quick trip for free dining in Sept. Went again in April cause my DDs band was performing at EPCOT and marching in the MK parade. After that trip we said that's plenty for awhile, but then I booked one more quick trip before our APs expire, so we're going again on Wednesday!

And I'm very jealous.
We were there January 05, October 05, October 06, and as soon as we got home from that one I started scheming and ended up talking DH into another trip that we took last month. Swore up and down that this would it for a while :rolleyes1 because I am going to be laid off from work in Nov and changing careers and going into teaching the following September.
Which, in my mind, means we have to take AT LEAST 1 more trip before Sept '08 because then I'll be teaching and our off-peak vacation opportunities will be gone.
So, I already started working on a trip for December. Of course my DH points out our drafty windows and badly-in-need-of-remodeling bathrooms and kitchen as a much better way to spend our money. He's just so practical some times.

OOPS! I didn't know I had to wait till this vacation was over to schedule the next one. I'm always working on the next one! Congratulations and welcome to the "magical side"

LOL, you are not alone at all! We returned the first week of May from a 7 day trip. Two weeks later, we booked our next trip..... for this August! :lmao: We can't WAIT to go, and frankly, are already planning on making the reservations for our next trip, hopefully next April\May, before we leave CBR in August, LOL. Yes, it's an addiction, and it keeps us going through the year!!!!!!!

Congrats :goodvibes

How did you already make reservations? I didn't think the 2008 prices were out yet? Or am I missing something???

I just called the reservation number and they were able to quote me a price and I went ahead and booked. They did tell me that the prices were subject to change but that is fine as long as they have a spot for me.
Now, my next question. Let me give you a little background. My parents have been supporting me and my DD2 (both financially and emotionally) for the last year while I went through a terrible divorce. I have yet to receive any support from the ex but don't want to take him back to court over it because he is a danger to us and we choose to let it go rather than risk him getting at my DD. I was finally able to sell my house and have financially recovered and am going to be the one treating the family (me, DD, grandma, and grandpa) to this trip. I am so glad to be able to do this because I know that I could never repay what they have done for us. Although the grandparents are arguing about this, I will prevail and finally be the one treating. You could never imagine all of the things that they have done for us. What suggestions do you have of something very nice and special that I could do for the grandparents as a thank you? I was thinking about something that I could do while in DW. I have treated them to dinner in the past but wanted to do something other than that. Any suggestions? Sorry, I know this is long and thanks for reading.

Wow you are very blessed! (and so are they! ;) )

I don't know, there are so many cool things to do in WDW! I haven't been there since 1997. Maybe someone who goes more frequently will have a great suggestion!

i wish we could plan another vacation. With Hubby is the Army it makes it hard to plan a DW trip. He is supposed to deploy in Dec for 15 months and our time we always go is Feb. Ugggg I hate that he rejoined the service.

I too treated my parents last year after they helped me through a divorce and a return to college (Master's Degree). I tried to find something "special" to give them of have them go to. Turns out they just loved being at WDW with their (at the time) only grandchild. They still talk about her reactions and interests.

Maybe you can have a basket sent to the room? Or a special show? Carriage ride? Where and when are you going? What "type" of people are they? Maybe we can give you some ideas

We are going back in Feb 08. I love the basket idea but do you think that they would deliver it to the campground? We will be staying in their motorhome. I guess that I am not totally treating as grandpa will have to drive us down there.:goodvibes They are very much into Disney. My Mom has been to DW 55 times and my Dad 54 times. Please keep the suggestions coming. You guys are GREAT!
