After much debate and worry, I called today to change our BRP ressie from the Beach Club to the Poly. I had no problems at all and only $11 more a night!!! They did give me a diffrent number to call originally but after that, all was golden. I am so excited to be staying on the Monorail! A dream since in first went in 1972! The CM was beyond awesome! WOW! Happy Day! I think I will surprise my mom and not tell her. She is going with us and has never been except for a day once or twice and the last time she was there was when EPCOT opened. It is going to be such a special trip! :cloud9:

That's great to hear! As I said in another thread, they will eventually get the hang of it but it's a new program & the CM's aren't familiar with it yet. It also helps if people call the correct telephone number and not the regular CRO line.

Have A Magical Time!! :flower:

They gave me a number to a Passholder Line. The last 4 digits were PASS and the intro was somewhat different from the regular line.

How much per night, what time of year? Next summer I will be staying on points all but a few nights. Those nights I'll be looking for an AP rate and have no idea what that would be!! Thanks!!!

Hi Ariel

The 2006 Best Rates are hovering around $70 off per night at deluxes. There is only availability until February 16th right now.

Cheers! :flower:

Across the board? Or select hotels? Do you book somewhere then check the rates as you get close to your date and switch???

You can only book Best Rates online through the Passholder site......

Just like the old call in AP rates, there is limited availability at each resort & concierge doesn't come up much. My rate for Jan 06 is $135 per night in a std view @ WL.

You can only book best rates 60 or more days in advance & there is a 1 night nonrefundable deposit. The system is supposedly replacing the old AP rates. Many here don't like the program, but in all reality, it's much more fair than the old way.
If you do a search for it, you'll get plenty of info (and opinions) :flower:

You can also book BRP through a travel agent. But be sure to use a T.A. that specializes in Disney. I've used Dreams Unlimited (owned by the owners of this site) and will use them again for BRP with any special requests. It's just so easy to e-mail Shirley at Dreams. :flower:
