WHAT? Everywhere, we are already paying $1.75.

PUHLEEZ! I've been paying a minimum of $2.03 for the cheap stuff for the past month!

(thankfully - I get 40 MPG!)

oh wonderful. where did you hear this? I havent had the news on all day.

Is this everywhere? I haven't heard that, either, but just in case I think it would be a good idea to go fill up at lunch. Thanks for the warning.

Great, just what we all need.... Yet another reason to use public transportation, or even ride a bike

ok I went to www.gasbuddy.com and so far the prices are the same as they were the other day when I filled up.

Still better to be safe than sorry I suppose.

For those that dont know the gas buddy site is awesome you put in your area and it tells you who has the cheapest gas in your area.

I would take $1.75, even with a $0.30 hike you will still be paying less then the $2.06 that it is currently, here. It was at $2.07 for the past two weeks, just went down one penny.

Rumors have gas prices at $3.00 or more by summer here in northern california.

That site is really neat! We're paying around $1.50 here. I hope that the $0.30 hike is a rumor and doesn't actually happen!

You always post the best links, thanks. Our gas is still around $1.50 - 1.60.

I've been paying $1.89 for premium for the last year so .30 isn't going to make a bit a difference.

Where do you people live???

Our average gas price for *REGULAR* is $2.20+. Jeff told me we have the highest in country....

GRRR GRRR GRRRR

The news about the 30cents is because in WI, if you live near Milwaukee they have this thing where the gas has a special blend, so gas doesn't give off these bad omissions. This special blend is suppose to be for the summer months when the ozone alerts are higher. This gas actually makes your vehicle run terrible.

What I don't get is I don't live in those Counties around Milwaukee, but our gas stations have now taken on these extra prices and without switching to this blended gasoline.

Our local gas station owner, said he made more money 2 years ago in June when these price hikes started going up then he ever made in one month in his entire career owning the station. What a crock.

I always heard gasoline prices fluctates from state to state cause of the tax on gas. I guess WI pays 75 cents towards tax, for each gallon of gas.

I just filled up my tank for $1.57 a gallon yesterday, and that was for the lowest grade.

We have the 'special' gas here too.
I don't think its helping any...
I've replaced the fuel injectors on my car already because of this crappy gas..

I think the amount of taxes you pay on gas in ridiculous..
I think we probaly pay 60-70 cents tax per gallon..

Will fill up tonight and hopefully it isn't too bad...
