I had a bit of drama (somewhat good drama though). My ds7 just called from my dmil since he is spending the night , and he had some VERY interesting news concerning my neighbors children. He told me they were taken away from their rather shady mother and put in foster care. (I dont know how he found this out though)
I think I may have facilitated this IF it is true since I made a call to the child services a month ago when it was snowy and like 20 degrees out. I saw the kids (3 of em, no older then my ds7) out in the cold snow with NO coats on or winter wear. They were passing by my house and I asked them if there mother was home, they said yes but she locked the door.
The kids are really sweet but they have NO social interaction skills , and when they are home from school the wander the busy street. The cops are ALWAYS coming to their house too.. *sigh* I kinda feel bad if I did help this happen, but I feel good too cause I have seen there mom and she seemed ummm....rather shady...
I shouldnt feel guilty if this did happen, right?
