I couldn't fax my request so I called and wow, UPGRADE TO CONCIERGE!

My fax was not working to fax my LH request for the Poly for Monday 10/6 so I called and asked to speak to the front desk manager. He was very pleasant, I told him it was our anniversary trip and he put my on hold for a moment, when he got back on the phone I was going to request which LH we wanted with our lagoon view and he just kindly said , " oh, I've upgraded you to Concierge". Explained what it was ( even though I already knew) and that was it! He said Happy Anniversay and WHALA! Do you think it is because they are not that busy? I hope so! Tahiti here we come....

Lucky you! Definitely send a letter to Disney, telling them how much you appreciate this manager's help in making your stay extra magical. We always do that, when we recieve pixie dust from the CM's.

Wow, I'll keep this in mind. We were planning on using soem of our DVC points for a getway from the kids for our 10 year aniversary at the GF. We only ahve enough points for garden view and I was wondering how'd I make any requests since I'll be booking it through DVC. Maybe I shoudl just call the desk, too? Maybe we'll be lucky to get a surprise, too.
