I couldn't even get Marrakesh?!

I didn't know this restaurant was so popular. The CM tried several nights and couldn't find availibility. Also couldn't get O'Hana, which was really a disappointment. I'll keep trying. I did get some of the ADRs I wanted so not a totally loss. It's tough to plan a vacation these days!

Hi. Did she try Marrakesh or Restaurant Marrakesh? When I made our ADR's, the CM first tried Marrakesh with no luck at all which seemed very strange to me. A little while later she found it under Restaurant Marrakesh.

I can't believe you couldn't get Marrakesh. We ate there in January and were totally underwhelmed. The girl outside with the menu practically begged us to eat there...and it was empty. I had read all the hype, but was really disappointed. The only thing that save it from being a total waste of time amd money was that they did have splits of champagne. That I liked.

Yes, something isn't right with that. I was able to book a spur of the moment trip in July and I just got ADRs at 'Ohana, Le Cellier, Mama Melrose, 50's Prime Time and Boma. I booked those last Friday. I also called and got a new ADR at Yachtsman for our June trip. I think this may have something to do with the switch that is currently underway in the dining reservations system. I called twice today and got an "all circuits are busy" message before I got through. I would encourage you to check again.

Today began the free dining ADR frenzy. Today was the 90th day prior to the beginning of the free dining promotion.

Yeah today was the first day of making ADR for the free dining I was one of them on hold for 45 minutes.Was able to make most of mine that I planned I couldnt as well get into Ohana...did make it in for Marrakesh...dont know if Ill keep it though if not I'll let you know.Its for the 20th.I doing so much research that my brain is starting to hurt.

Ok, so you all are thnking the same thing - something's wrong. I don't know now, maybe it's a blessing that it wasn't available! The CM didn't say Restaurant Marrakesh, plus she didn't pronounce it correctly. I'm going to try again tomorrow to get OHana and maybe replace Marrakesh. There are so many good restaurants at EPCOT, why go with mediocre?

The CM that was helping me said that the restaurants are listed in alphabetical order on their screen - so when she was looking in the M's, it was no where to be found. It is strangely enough, under R - Restaurant Marrakesh. I don't know why, very strange, I think they should change that.

We get to book tomorrow for our 90 days, and I am so upset because after reading these posts I am sure I am not going to get any of the ADRs that we wanted, and I am booking for 13. I have a bad feeling about this.
