I couldn't believe it!

We went to a local festival held every year called Sunfest. It's along the intercostal downtown, biggest event in the city. We had a very nice time topped off with fireworks that truly compared to Disney, they were amazing.

Anyway, Nickalodeon was there doing a kids show. My daughter got picked for one of the games. Turned out to be hot potato using a plate of whipped cream. There were 6 of them. She got past the first 3 rounds and those kids just had to pie themselves in the face with it, nothing real bad or messy. So we get to my daughter and they take away her regular sized plate of whipped cream and replace it with a HUGE plate full of the stuff. And they tell her that she is to not only pie herself in the face with it, she is to do a tornado with it and pie her face then swipe it all around her head. I was like OMG!!!! She didn't get it and just pied herself in the face but then the woman in charge said nooooooooo, you gotta do this! And proceeded to smear that entire plate full of whipped cream all over her head and hair! I ran to meet her at the other side, there wasn't a clean place from her shoulders up. They were trying to clean her up with towels which just wasn't working. So we had to go around back to a hose they had set up and I basically had to wash my daughters hair. Toweled her hair dry and she was good to go. And for all this, the child got a Nick cup!!! LOLOLOL.

We just got home, hours past their bedtime so I admit I sent her to bed with her hair still whipped cream caked.... it was pretty bad. But will wash it in the morning.

At least they took her bow out before they did it... she was wearing her pretty matching bow to her beautiful Palm Springs line Gymboree shirt.
