I hope your holidays have been positive and enjoyable - something to be celebrated despite the challenges thrown into our lives each year. I'll send prayers and positive thoughts your way for your husband and father.

If I can offer anything up, they have made major strides in the ways that they can evaluate and deal with lung nodules now. My FIL just had a small nodule removed this past fall and is doing very well after fighting off mantle cell lymphoma twice in the past 4 years. He was helping to clean up and do the dishes with us at our house this weekend and enjoying the things we consider stressful over the holidays.

Thanks everyone for the messages. We did finally hear yesterday from the secretary at the dr's office and she said they're pretty sure everything is ok. I was hoping to hear a definite there's nothing wrong, but at least we didn't hear anything negative. I'm sure if something showed up on the pet scan the dr would've called and had him come in. They still want him to see a thoracic surgeon on the 10th and again I'm taking that as good news because they didn't feel that he needed to be seen asap. Keeping my fingers crossed. And again, thanks to each and every one of you that has said a prayer or sent a kind thought my way!
