I Could Use Some Advice

So i figure that we have three months of school left and i better start talking now. so i am really really shy and soft-spoken. so i have tried to talking to the guy i like (ryan) but idk its hard cause i only have third period with him every other day and we have assigned seats and he sits across the room from me so i cant ask him to help me with my work. lets see what else..oh yeah but the teacher sometimes gives us free time at the end of the period. My cousin is friends with him on facebook (they really dont hang in real life..i wish they did it would be sooo much easier). Anyway besides soccer idk what to talk to him about. i was going to ask my cousin to get on facebook for me (under her name) so i could look at his intrests and stuff, but i dont want to sound like a friggin stalker you know? << cause im 100% not! anyway idk yesterday when ihad class with him my friend josh was joking with me and was like "gosh you dont play pianno? what a loser" but he was joking around, but ryan was like "Whats wrong with not playing the piano, she is still awsome". it made me so happy. so idk what to do anything is helpful...please NO MEAN COMMENTS--i dont need more drama. oh and DONT suggest friending HIM on facebook-its just not an option..yet. oh and i may be softspoken but he is really outgoing. any help???

Don't focus on that.
Try to talk to him and get to know him.
If you see him in the hallway, say hi.
Before class begins or after class just go up to him and say hey, and just start talking.
Or write him a note.

Once you start talking to him more, it wont be akward to friend him on facebook and once you do it'll be a lot easier to talk in person.
