I had some bad news last night - my dad died - he was elderly and lived in a care home as he had Alzeimers but it was still sudden. It was my birthday as well. This morning my brother rang his sister (our auntie) to let her know but my cousin answered the phone and said that they had been trying to get hold of us as my auntie had also died a couple of days ago. It was only last week that my uncle in the USA also passed away (on my mum's side).

They are all in a better place now I'm sure and I'm hoping that as these things come around in threes (if you believe in fate) then we've had our run of bad luck for the year.
