I know I have complained about this before, but I am going to again for the sheer hell of it!

Why, when trying to get a price (we are going to take advantage of Virgins free child places), am I asked to enter the ages of the 3 kids, 9 7 and 2. It then on their website tells me I cant have that many kids in one room (all star resort). But then it tells me on the Disney site as well as on the Virgin site itself, that a child UNDER 3 can go in a roll away. Give me strength, am I the only one trying to book with 3 kids, one of which seems to be at an age where he may (or may not) be a child.

Ok, got that out of my system!

Steve

we had issues when we tried to book a disney cruise with a virgin rep on the phone. we wanted to book 1 stateroom for dh ds14 dd 16 and myself . on the disney site we should be charged for two adults plus reduced rates for dd16 and ds14. virgin wanted to charge me 4adult prices with a reduction of £170 because we had 2 children in our room.but i worked it out to be £170 cheaper if they priced it at 2adults plus 2 extra adults sharing the same room.but all the rep could say was that is not how it is priced on hes computor? but my reply was in the currant brochure it states the price of the cruise is based on 2 adults in the stateroom with a 3/4 adult price. hes answer to me was o well this is the price on my computor. i then put the phone down. i will try again another day. hopefully get someone who is more helpful.

Are you trying to book online? I think you would get more assistance by calling the booking line. :confused3

We managed to book for us and our 3 children in ASM through disney so im sure you can do it through Virgin.

Our childrens ages when we go in October are DD5, DS23mths, DS23mths. Its going to be funny when we check in trying to get them to put 2 cots in one room, but if they cant accomodate that then the boys will either have to share or jump in the other double with their sister! :earboy2:

Hi Candy,

When we tried to book a cruise round the med last year for 2 weeks, we had hells game getting a cabin for 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 infant, we were quoted in excess of 8,000.00 for a weeks cruise and a weeks stay round the med. Christ!, there are parts of europe where you can buy a house for that I said. Why does this always seem a difficult thing to do, when you have more than 2 kids.

Hi Angel,

Can I assume you have twins (or were you really really quick) :rotfl2:

Thanks

Steve

Yep they are twins, but completely different in every way possible. All they have in common is their birthdate! :teeth:

Don't blame you for wanting to scream Steve, how frustrating !
