I could kick myself - email codes

I was trying to order some stuff of DisneyDirect. I signed DH up and saw a check box area for news and announcements. I signed him up for the WDW info then went to check my profile. I've been signed up for years and never got a code. Now I know why, maybe! I had not checked that box.

I have made the change and put in an order so maybe I'll get lucky.

I really, really, really think that it's just RANDOM in getting these email/postcard codes.

It must be random, bcs we're in the Disney system as DVC owners and AP holders, but still get offers for deals for packages at the Value resorts, sometimes for dates where we have existing reservations.

Really, Disney should target these better, and send a good code to someone for whom an email code will coax them to visit WDW instead of some other vacation choice.
