I changed my reservation....hope I made a good choice!

So my original plan was to stay at the AOA from April 12-15 and then switch over to the POR Royal Rooms from the 15th-20th. The total was 1,475.82 for the stay. My kids are 6 and 4.

So then I decided to make a switch last minute. I changed our reservation to POR Royal Rooms from the 12-18th and the Boardwalk Inn from the 18th-20th. So now our total is 1894.24.... a difference of 418.42

Did I make a good choice??? The difference in money is it worth it??

I say YES! how much were the nights at the BW?? I am thinking of upgrading there if the price is right!

POR 191.92 per night with Visa Discount and the BWI was 688.28 for Thursday and Friday nights with Visa Discount. Rack rate on the BWI standard view was over 500.00 for Friday night!! Yikes!. Would have been cheaper if could stay mid week but can't.

Beach Club was cheaper but only by 16.00 per night...

Sounds like a great value overall! Although, I'm a huge advocate for BWI - it's my favorite resort.

good choice - por is a great place for the kids - and bw is a great location - easy to get to both hs & epcot -
