I can't watch...

the commercial that Sarah Maclachlan sponsors the ASPCA.
It makes me cry everytime I see the pictures of the animals.
I also can't go past the adoption centers in Petsmart.
It makes me too sad to know those animals don't have a home.

If I went to check out the local ASPCA,I would probably come home with all the animals.

Anyone else get this way?
Also,have you ever adopted a pet from the ASPCA?

If I had enough money in the world I would adopt every single animal I see in those adoption centers.
They break my heart.

I've seen that commercial 4 times today while I was watching VH1.
Yes, I've always wanted to adopt a pet.
My mom of course can't stand anything but fish.
So that is out of the question.
But I plan on going somewhere and adopt a puppy when I move out.
I'm not sure where our local ASPCA is at around here. I don't think we have one very close.
It makes me sad =(

The first time I saw that commercial I started crying. After the second time, I couldn't watch it at all. When I first hear the song, I imminently change the channel to something else instead.

i havent seen the commercials, but i love animals. i would adopt some if i could, but my mom would freak out. i already have a dog and a cat.

I can't watch those commercials.

But whenever I go to Petsmart, I feel so bad for those pets I just have to go and pet them (at my petsmart they have wide bars on the cage and you can stick your fingers in and pet them).

I've seen that one.
It breaks my heart.

I always want to adopt more animals from shelters but our recent dogs have come from breeders because it would break my heart to leave so many dogs and cats behind.

I watched this show on Animal Planet last night about dog fighting. I could barely watch it, because...well because I just couldn't.

It made me just wanna run up and give all my pets a huge hug.

I voulenteer at an animal shelter here. It's a no kill shelter...and it's a great way if you feel bad for the shelter animals to maker their lives better. It was hard at first because I wanted to take them ALL home...but I couldn't of course. But voulenteering there is amazing.

Those commercials make me soooo sad.

We adopted a dog from the ASPCA when I was 6, and he's still with us (I'm 16 now). We also have another dog, but we didn't get him from a shelter.

I remember going into Petco one time and having to leave immediately once I saw the dogs up for adoption. They were sitting (trying to, at least) in cages that were way too small for them. They couldn't sit up and could barely lie down. It was sad
