It's part of the process...it'll come soon enough. And probably a few days before, you'll become bored of the whole idea. That will be either before or after you start mourning your future trip, b/c you realize it will be over after it's over.

Just like grief, there's a whole emotional process for big vacations! (happens with honeymoons, too)

LOL enjoy the time you have before you go. As frustrating as it can be, the wait is half the fun. I'm at the 30 day mark and going crazy. The time will be here before you know it.

It'll go quick...just last friday i was at 3 weeks, today is only 2 ...and the week flew by!!!

3 weeks? OMG piece of cake, I have months to go. do something in the mean time to take your mind off the trip, hav e you packed yet ( yes I have lol) find something to do, rearange your closets LOL

The problem is - it's on your mind all the time.
Solution - get back to your every day stuff and interests. This also prevents burnout. I started getting that. I felt like I already went to DL and wondered why I'm bothering with the hassle of the trip(and that's no good).

Enjoy what's happening today.

I'm 41, so I've developed patience(It's great!) I took my 1st trip in 9 years on April 1, had no mourning, because I knew the trip could last me till my next visit in 2 years, because I've developed a powerful imagination. I'm still enjoying writing my trip report.

In three weeks the nights at Disneyland will be warmer, not so cold...and I mean cold! It is not enjoyable when it is so cold at night!

I have only 2 days but listening to Disney Soundtracks help, nothin like a little "Zippidi-doo-dah" on the way to work!
