I can't get through the e-bay thread!

I almost wish there was a limit to number of posts per thread. I quit at page 7. What I would like to know is how is this transfer rule going to effect renters? If you transfer points, that means you are renting to a member, right? And you can still make the reservation yourself and rent out the reservation. So how is this going to stop renters? I'm thinking that this wasn't done to stop professional renters, but the point morphing.

It's not, just push them to reserve high demand times to rent out. It will decrease the number of casual renters such as those who would rent points rather than use them for lower return exchanges.
