I can't get though on the DVC member services phone line today

I have been calling all day, trying to verify my reservation for next week and the line has been busy, busy, busy....
any suggestions?

It took us over 50 minutes to get through this morning. Try calling the direct number printed on the back of your member card. It's not toll free but you may get through that way.

I called today a little after one and I was on wait for about 8 minutes didn;t think that was bad at all. I also used the 407 number.
 
Keep in mind that DVC was closed yesterday for MLK day, therefore today is probably like Monday as far as high call volume.
 

I didn't have an alternate number since I'm not a member - I rented points from someone on these boards way back in June.

I finally called the Boardwalk (where our reservation is) and they transferred me to member services (on a line that wasn't busy) still had to wait on hold for about 15 minutes, but at last got the reservation confirmed. :p Yeah, can't wait!!! Got all sorts of plans - booked Gifts of a Lifetime and also have a personal chef coming to cook us a gourmet meal right in the villa:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:
 
Maybe it took a while for two reasons - the MLK holiday yesterday, and the 11 month window for Christmas this year is starting to open up. If you want a BW GV, an OWK GV, or a BW standard view over the holidays plan on getting in line early.

I started calling at 4:10 PM this afternoon, kept hitting re-dial while keeping it on speakerphone, and got through at 4:20 PM; was then on hold for only 4 minutes & got BWV for Memorial Day weekend, my first choice!!!!!
 
I called this morning right at 9am, got through on the fourth try. Got my 1 bdrm at OKW Dec 9 to 18. Doin' the happy dance. :)
 
MS is probably going to be pretty busy for the next week or so. January is always busy since families get together over the holidays and make vacation decisions for the year....followed by January phone calls to MS. We have now hit the 11 month mark for Christmas Week which has things hopping. And the topper for today was that MS has been closed since Friday.

I called between 9:30-10:00 a.m. I hit redial several times and got through and then got a recording estimating a 4 minute wait. I hung up and tried again a few minutes later. Same deal. Redial 4-5 times, get into the queue and get a message saying it's now a 5 minute wait. They also have a message about it being the holiday booking season and apologizing for waits. My actual wait was less than 5 minutes, I had a very pleasant CM and some luck that landed me a 2 bedroom for mid-March (for relatives....not me, darn it.) ;)
