Yesterday, DH and I and DSis and DBIL were having lunch. They came to town to visit for the weekend. We were talking about my wedding and Dsis asked DH how his best man was doing. So DH mentions he had tried to contact since they hadn't spoken in awhile. I chime in that the last we had seen him was at his wedding in Nov 2005. Then we both start to talk about him and his personality, his ex-gf who I was close with, his new wife, etc. Dsis asked if they were still married and DH said they were. His cell phone rings and he excuses himself to answer it. Meanwhile we continue the convo.
DH comes back and says you are not going to believe this, that was his BF's wife! She started the call with "Let me tell you about your B^%& A$$ friend." Her side of the story was that he had been cheating on her for 2 years with another woman and she just found out and moved out. Before they were married she had skin cancer, that had been treated but it has come back AND she is 4 MONTHS PREGNANT!!!
I was in shock!! We were just talking about them and then she calls with this news!!
So DH called his BF and his story is that it he MET the woman 2 years ago but just started seeing her 2 MONTHS ago. When he found out his wife was pregnant and dealing with the cancer again, he ended it and told his wife.. (how noble, huh). But he just told her friday. I feel bad for her. Why the heck would he tell her why she is dealing with the pregnancy and the cancer? She is having surgery this Thursday. I ask DH did he tell his friend was a $#%% he was? Of course DH didn't, he said he just told him to do what he had to to make it right. Which is? I am so disgusted! How selfish! I always thought so highly of him!
