I can't do it

I'm having such a hard time getting below the 200 mark. I was at 203 three weeks ago and I'm up 3 pounds now. :( I know what I've done and I just need to fix it. Too many chicken tenders on my salad at Ruby's. Too much ranch dressing which has sugar in it. I need to get back to our ceasar dressing which has no sugar. "Treating" myself to french fries once a week coz I'm doing so well. WELL NO MORE!! I was doing so well when I was doing the salad bar or the kitchen made salads at Ruby's. Before we got our low carb menu, I made my meals low carb by getting rid of the bun and replacing the potato with broccoli, so I need to get back to that again.
All I want to see is 199 on that scale, that's all. :( I'm having lunch with a friend tomorrow and I made these plans before I weighed myself, so after lunch it's back on the ball and no more "treats" until I 1) reach 199 or 2) reach my goal of 180.

I sure could use a hug and some inspiring words. I'M SO MAD AT MYSELF!!! I know 3 pounds isn't much, but to me it is. It hinders my progress and upsets me greatly. :mad: You know what's really bad....I don't crave the sugar anymore....I want it no where near my body....I just want the carbs. UGH....HELP ME WISH FRIENDS!! :worried: :guilty:

My church mom told me to set a goal for myself by Valentines Day, so I think I will. I want to be 199 pounds by February 14th. That's about 3 weeks away, and I think I can loose those 7 pounds if I just get myself back on track. I need to start working out again. Tae-Bo was a BIG help when I did it faithfully 3-4 days a week, so I need to get with it.

TL, you know you can do this! Now you've proven to yourself that the things that you were doing good and right paid off in great dividends before (lost weight). Therefore, if you go back to them, things will get lined out again and the 7 (plus) pounds will fall away. We can't seem to "fool" our bodies with french fries and chocolate. They just can't be disguised. So you have to be faithful to your plan. And if you are, your plan rewards you!

Good luck! I know onederland will be yours next month! You go girl!
 
Sending a HUGE hug your way. YOU CAN do this!! You have the determination now show that scale who is BOSS! Do not give up.
 

Tigg...run your daily food thru www.fitday.com for a few days and make sure you're eating enough!! I seem to find that when I fall below the " 9 -11 times body weight" in calories...I stop loosing and sometimes put on a few. Doesn't quite make sense that in order to loose...you have to eat more!! But it works. Also make sure your water is up there and perhaps try adding a little more fat to your diet!
I feel your pain!!!! I haven't seen under 200 since the 80's. But we're gonna get there together!!!! (unfortunatly for me...I'm sure you'll be there soon!!!)
Hang in there and them d*amn scales will start moving again!!

You can do this! You know you just have to get all the way back on the wagon. We've all done it, where we are doing so well, we add a little extra to our portion or have a little bite of dessert. Then somehow, we stop exercising, but keep "treating" ourselves with a little something.....
So get up and get moving, do the exercising and get back OP 100%. Those 7 lbs will be gone by Valentines. What a wonderful gift of love to give yourself!

:hug: Never say you can't!!! You CAN do it!!!! Tiggerlover we all know you can do it, get out those excersize tapes and go for it. We're all rooting for you!!!!! Those seven pounds will come off in no time once you get back on plan!!!

I'm sorry you're feeling so blue abut this Tiggerlover.:hug: I have been in your shoes so many times. Not counting this last weight loss of 110# I yo-yo-ed myself up and down over 800#! And it all started after giving up when I saw that scale climb even just a little bit. You know "It's just a pound or two" which quickly turned into 10, 20, 30..... You are ahead of the game, though, in that you recognize where you are, and what you need to get back on track! Don't let the extra few pounds get you down, and don't give up because of them! YOU CAN DO THIS! I understand the feeling of getting below 200--it will be a tremendous motivator, and you will be amazed at how good it makes you feel! I wish you all the best at working towards your goals--please don't let just a few pounds define where you are, and separate you from all the GREAT WORK you've done already! Get a hold of this now, and you'll have the wonderful feeling of seeing that scale at 199! A big hug from someone who's been there...:hug: :hug: :hug:

This may sound trite and hackneyed, but here goes:

Visualize it. See a picture of yourself hitting that goal, see and know the good feelings it inspires. Make a mental video of what you see in your mind's eye.

Got that video yet? Good. Now make it happen. ;)

Okay, first of all a big HUG!!!:grouphug:

Now, what I'd like for you to do is go back in and edit the subject title to say "I CAN DO THIS!" I think the hardest part is mentally accepting the fact that you WILL be in ONEDERLAND! I was over 200 for 7 years! Last July was the first time I hit Onederland in that long stretch- now I'm more focused on distancing myself as far as I can- let me tell ya- it's alot easier for me now that I made that hump....it's just a number but there's some mental block about it!

Are you exercising at all? Make a mini-goal to outline what exercise you can squeeze in during now and Valentine's- just anything atleast 3x a week. On the first week focus on that, then the second week pick something else to change, maybe it's just committing to drinking water only- no diet sodas- caffeine or other- it's great for you and it shows you that you CAN do something- even if it's just committing to drinking only water. Then commit to ONEDERLAND...and commit to a reward once you reach it! Whether it's clothes, candles, soaps, money- just give yourself something to remind you of your hard work!
