Ok so this is my dilemma. We are going to Universal October 3-7, but we aren't doing HHN due to the kids being too young. So MNSSHP is on Thursday, Oct 6 and I thought that we would take the kids over to the MNSSHP from 4pm-12am. That would only shorten our US/IOA day by a couple of hours and they would have a blast. We did MNSSHP a couple of years ago and they loved it! Now, I have been thinking about SeaWorld. We have never been there, and I can get a great deal on the tickets. The problem is that going to SeaWorld would eliminate a whole day at US/IOA and with transportation would be a little bit more money. So should we go back to MNSSHP or do SeaWorld? Ackk!! Decisions decisions!!!

I haven't done the SW Spooktacular but remember...costumes are encouraged and the party is included in your park ticket so you'll save money there. I think you try something new and go to SW. :thumbsup2

Why not ask the kids?

I think your plan is the best one, though -- you don't lose much time at Universal and you get an evening at Disney/MNSSHP in the deal.

I'd do whatever's cheaper, lol

BTW, I don't remember if you're staying onsite or not, but I think they have free transportation to Sea World if you are. And a lot of the offsite ones do too.

any guest staying onsite at UO, can receive free transportation from their hotel to Sea world.

sign up the day/night before to guarantee your seats on the bus.

it will make other stops at the remaining hotels.

there should be 2 morning busses and a return bus soon after SW closes.

UO also provides free transportation to aquatica, and wet and wild.

HOLY COW I DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS A SEAWORLD SPOOKTACULAR!!! We are staying onsite...sounds like I need to research this a little more!

I can't ask the kids. We have them FOOLED! We got a new puppy in January and told them we couldn't travel this year. :rolleyes1 Well with the AP rates so cheap, and great rates on AMTRAK, and the MIL was available to come stay with the dogs...we are on our way! They won't know until the day we leave.

Ok looks like the Spooktacular will not start when we are there. I looked at last years dates and it didn't start until Oct 9, and we leave on the 7th. Just the little bit I saw...it looked like it was for a younger aged children. I also looked at the park hours and they are 9-6. I know that my kids will be terribly upset if we leave US/IOA to spend a day at SeaWorld since this isn't as long a trip as we usually do. So I guess I will stick to the original plan of going to MNSSHP. Thanks for the information!
