I Can't Believe We Ate the Whole Thing! 15 Nights of DDP with photos...!

All of your pics have been great! We have never tried Whispering Canyon. But I am tempted. We enjoyed Ohana - loved the bread pudding, I would go again just for that!

Hi! I have been silently lurking for awhile now, but I have to commend you on your great photos and reviews! This latest one makes me feel great about changing an ADR last week...we will be doing Whispering Canyon on our arrival night! Looks delicious.

What a great review. I have enjoyed reading it.

No Kahlua in the Kahlua cake. I might have to rethink my dessert when we go there in August.

Look forward to the rest of you review.

Thanks for the reviews and pictures. They are one of the best reviews I've read here. Very informative PLUS you had pictures of some food items I've never seen before.

Great reviews again Jenn, despite you having sneaked some peanut butter stuff in there ;) Whispering Canyon food looks good - may have to try and fit that in somewhere.

We had this last year and liked it a lot. The flatbread was excellent - very thin and crispy, but still with some chewiness to the crust. Not unlike the flatbreads we got at Roaring Fork. A little greasy, but with pepperoni and cheese it's hard to be.

The salad was also good - the chicken was not dry at all. I would have liked more dressing, but again I like my salads to swim. The dressing was very creamy and had a great taste. The salad is also a lot bigger than it looks and there is a ton of chicken. The croutons were a nice crunchy addition.

The cheesecake:

Chocolate cake topped with cheesecake and then chocolate ganache. Rich and creamy and chocolately - we had this last year and remembered it well. It is really, really good - but not as much as I remembered it being. :confused3

These two meals were a good size for the three of us. Made fresh to order.

Oooo Yummy cheesecake!  And props to you and your DH's parenting so that your DS likes fruits and veggies! :thumbsup2 He is ADORABLE by the way! :goodvibes

This time DS came with us - and it was a big hit with him.

We ordered the Pirates Punch for DS - Minute Maid Raspberry Lemonade in a souvenier cup with a Captain Hook glow clip toy:

DH ordered a coke and I ordered the Mango Cranberry Smoothie:

DS started with the breadsticks and the Cheese Soup.

Epcot SSE shaped butter:

Breadsticks with butter (DH WAS watching him with the knife):

I don't have any photos of the cheese soup, but it was excellent. I make it at home and it tends to have a stronger beer flavor then :rolleyes1 but the original is just so good!

DH and I both ordered the shrimp cocktail again - no photos, as they looked exactly the same as before ;)

DS Entree - Grilled Steak and Fries:

BCV5-12-07LeCellierV.jpg

DS loved this...ate almost all of the steak and enjoyed the steak fries as well.

Entree - 14 oz. New York Strip Steak - with sauteed leeks, frisee, and roasted Yukon gold potatoes, and finished with veal demi glace

BCV5-12-07LeCellierVI.jpg

Very, very good again. Medium rare and cooked exactly as ordered. Consistently good :thumbsup2

Entree - 7 oz. Filet Mignon - glazed with maple barbecue sauce and accompanied by cream cheese mashed potatoes

The medium rare filet was excellen by itself and the potatoes were fantastic. But there are certain meats that don't need BBQ sauce and a beef tenderloin is one of them. :sad2: I'd order the sauce on the side. Dh liked it though.

DS dessert - make your own sundae:

DH Dessert - Chocolate Mousse:

BCV5-12-07LeCellierX.jpg

Adorable - a very fun dessert. I've seen lots of photos, but never really knew what it tasted like so it was nice to try it. I was surprised how dark the chocolate mousse was. I was expecting milk chocolate, but it was actually a dark chocolate. I don't know how much I've had liked it as a child, but as a grown up? Definitely!

My Dessert - Creme Brulee Duo - Maple with Cinnamon Whipped Cream and Vanilla with Vanilla Whipped Cream

BCV5-12-07LeCellierIX.jpg

This was very good - I preferred the vanilla creme brulee over the maple - not as sweet. But I definitely liked the cinnamon whipped cream. I had this with an after dinner Inniskillin Ice Wine:

I'm not sure how to describe this wine. I am hardly an expert...but I can say it was sweet and perfect with dessert. I liked it very, very much. It was a 3 oz serving and seemed to pack a bit of a punch.

Your pics are so awsomee! And your son is adorable in every pic. Still enjoying your reviews.

More fantastic reviews Jenn - how lucky that you got to visit Le Cellier twice! I am defintiely having the strip steak when we go in August. The kid's steak looked good to - DS would like that :thumbsup2

I like the look of the CS offerings at Artist Palette too - very much looking forward to trying some of their CS meals soon :)

I had the filet when we were there and I agree with the BBQ sauce. My plate was swimming with it! I couldn't take a bit of anything without the sauce being on it. And the icewine is a true treat! Sounded like yall had a good time.

I almost feel like I ate along with you. It is lunch time and I work through lunch but I know feel full.:rotfl: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Great reviews again so is the moose covered in little bits of chocolate or something? It looks bumpy, sorry strange description :lmao:

I just want you to know... you have convinced me to book an ADR for Yatchsman Steakhouse during our next trip!

Hi,

I just got down reading the whole report and wanted so say thanks we are going for our first trip and your reviews have helped me out alot I cdan't wait to go and eat now.

Thats because its great CANADIAN Ice wine.

HA! I'll give you that - we share a border with you so I have a soft spot for Canadians and often get mistaken for one with my "accent". It was SO good! I have never paid $15 for one drink before and it was so good I'd do it again.

We love BBQ and the flavor of the sauce was nice, but tenderloin??:sad2:

Did you have some of the ice wine? I can almost taste it now. YUM!
