^ Um you get viruses alot of times when the person doesn't even know their sick yet. Get the facts straight. If we stayed home everytime we were 'sick' nothing would get done.

Uh yeah, if I come to school, it's not that bad. It's like what? A runny nose, a sore throat and that's about it. I only stay home if I've got a fever, happen to have a headache on a day I am sick, or have a stomach ache on a day I'm sick.

My parents won't let me stay home unless I am sick sick. Cold's last like a week for me, sometimes longer, so if I stayed home that long, I'd miss way too much.

Yeah, i get sick all the time. it sucks. I miss a lot of school because of sickness. And I've already come home early one day this year because the a/c was off and it was 84 in my classes and I was going to die.




People like you are what make people who catch things easily have to miss craploads of school. We thank you.

dude, if i miss some of my classes, my grade drops. the attendance policy is not my fault, and its not my fault you have a weak immune system. if i miss more than 5 days in one semester, i make an f, no matter what my grade was originally.

Ok i missed one day of school cuz i had a terrible terrible cold! ohh it was *cough* awful!!!!! *sniff*

So last week was my 2nd week of school.


I missed 2 days because of I got the stomach virus.

Not even a WEEK later, *same day* I get this horrible throbbing tight dry scratchy pain in my throat *I dont know what it is, i wouldnt exactly call it strep, although it may be* along with a terrible headache, and a sinus infection.



Ive missed 3 days of school so far.

Im terrified. I catch EVERYTHING and this year seems to be a REALLY bad year with infections/viruses going around..and something tells me im going to catch a good amount of them.

Oii.

and..its so annoying, because im always the one to wash my hands, and when i cant i use purell...i always keep my own pack of kleenex's, anytime someone else sneezes i wash my hands. Anytime I sneeze i also wash my hands...

Im a germophobe. I keep a pack of 50 antibacterial wipes in my locker, along with a pump of purell and tissues....
yet...

I am the one to catch everything

I just wanted to vent that.


Has anyone else caught a virus or something this school year so far?
Are you known for missing a lot of days of school each year?

I am.
Everyone always makes jokes like "Jeezers, im not even sure she goes to this school" or "But then you got sick..and missed 3 weeks of school" and it makes me feel SO terrible, because if they could only SEE the kind of crap i deal with when i get sick, they might understand why i have to miss 3 weeks.

Uggh.

You've inherited what I had last year!
I wish you lot of luck and advise you to invest in tissues. Lots of them, because you'll need em.
Also, get a year supply of doctor's notes for school.
I currently have a cold along with a sore throat.
Must be a Northern VA thang
