Is he narrating at the CP, Janet? I saw Marie Osmond narrate when I was there at the beginning of December.

I saw Donny as Joseph "way back when", he was wonderful!

From July 92-Jan 94 I was employed by Livent and spent most of that time on tour as part of the Joseph crew. Donny was great. I can't believe he turned 49 last week. I'm now several years older than he was when we were on tour. Where does the time go?

I can't beleive I'm going to miss him again and at Disney at that !!!

Cass was right...I WAS to have seen him in Vegas last week. My sister and I had front row seats to see his Christmas show. THEN it happened. Around noon the day of the show I came down with the worst flu of my life. Sick as a dog and no way I could make it. So not only did we miss Donny, the whole Vegas trip was ruined.

Oh well, these things happen. He is releasing a new CD in the Spring so I am so hoping that he does a concert in either Toronto or up at Casino Rama again

Ok....but gotta tell you, it's gonna feel a little awkward...

My best friend and her husband spent a week with Donny and the family at the same resort in Hawaii...they kept running into him and his wife...so she wants me to say hello too..

If nothing else, I'll stand out as the weird woman from AK with all those weird friends...

I'll give it a go!! LOL!!

Well, before I got a chance to get back on here (limited internet access and all) I did happen to see a sandwich board in front of the Outfitters in AK when we were there last night. We just happened to have decided to do AK early this morning as well to get KS done early, had some brekkie at Tusker House and then separated from the rest of my family group. My DH and I headed to Outfitters where I happened to go in the wrong door and oh my goodness, there he was! Looking awesome and all! So I quickly purchased a Mulan CD (my DD loves Reflection and sings it often in voice lessons) and for some reason I had never purchased this one. So got in my line with my very patient DH and we waited close to an hour to get up to him.

He's so sweet, nice and darn good-looking! He signed my CD, had my pic taken with him and we had some friendly conversation about my seeing him 3x as Joseph 13 years ago in Vancouver. He even remembered the name of the theatre. I mentioned that I had taken my 6-year old daughter to the backstage door where she got his autograph and then told him she was 19 now and didn't we both feel so much older! He laughed and I said I'd love to see him as Joseph again and he replied "not with me, baby!". So I said well maybe I'd see him in B&B one day.

Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed my touch with a celebrity (and yes, I did hug him) and thanks to you all for letting me know about it!
