I am a Disney fanatic. I could go to Disney all the time. My kids are the same way (ages 10, 7 & 2). Usually, my wife doesn't like to go for more than 3-4 days. Since we don't go for long. I always rush everyday to the parks to get it all in. So I finally convinced her to go for 6 nights at the end of August. So if all goes well I will be spending the last week in August at the Wilderness Lodge and the Disneyworld parks. And its killing me since we are surprising the kids and I can't tell them. :guilty:

:grouphug: :love1: They are going to be so psyched!!

Your children are so lucky! I wish I had a father like you. Hope all goes well. Have a magical time! :wizard:

If you really can't stand *not* telling them, pratice telling them when they are asleep! Wierd, but it worked for me...

Glad you convinced her. We'll be at WL from the 8/20 - 8/30 so I'll look for the other father dragging his wife around.(i'll be doing the same) :rotfl2:

That's great! I drag my wife to WDW twice a year and she's alot like yours. She enjoys it, but not nearly as much as I do. You know, reading the DISboards, you see a lot more women than men who are WDW fanatics. Maybe we, men should start a support group or something? "Hi, my name is LOG, and I'm a Disnaholic."

I need you guys to work on my DH and convert him - I'm trying to make him a Disneyholic but so far he's resisting! :rotfl2:

Same here, my husband goes and enjoys himself but not like I do. You know he's one of those that always says "there are other places in this world to see other than Disney". In my eyes there is only Disney. I just can't help myself. We do go other places also, what's fair is fair. It works out great.

I'm another DH that has to drag the DW ::MinnieMo kicking and screaming to WDW. :rotfl2: Well, maybe it's not quite that bad!?, but I do have to employ :rolleyes1 the (2x DS's 10 pirate: & 8 pirate: ) to help convince Mommy every year, that we want to Holiday with the Mouse!

Yes, I'm a DisneyAHolic! It's been over 7 months since our last visit, and I have several more to go before the next one!

I was 17 when I took my DH (DBF at the time) for his first trip to WDW. He was hooked for life. He is a Disneyaholic just like me! We have been going every year since then. I sometimes think he's more of a Disney freak than me, if it's possible! The only fight we usually have about going is how long we have to wait until we go again!

You're like me! I took my DBF on his first real DW trip back in March. (He had been before, for a small trip with his school choir, so he really didn't get to see much.) Now he is a full fledged Disney maniac, like me! He loved it so much, that we're planning 3 more trips, one of which was a surprise to me on his part. Now that I know he's DW crazy, I definitely know he's a keeper! :rotfl:

I don't have to drag DW, but I'm always the one to initiate the discussion about going on a WDW trip. DW likes it a lot, but she doesn't have to talk about it and think about it every day like I do :earsboy:

How do I do it?? I nag her until she relents :sad2: ...and then promise to do a trip that she wants. I also say that our kids love it and they are only young for a short time...which she retorts..."Your 36 and still love to go." I have no answer to that.

Although, she is mad (jokingly). We had gotten that new promotional dvd with Erin, Dake, Luke and Stacy(?). And my 2-year old keeps asking for it to be put on...he says "Dinney, Dinney!!" :rotfl:
