I Can't Believe I Invited My MIL -I'm BAAACK! And determiend to finish this thing!

Did we know you were preggers? I don't remember.

No. And either did I. ;):rotfl:

Seriously, though, I was already on my extended leave from the DIS when I got knocked up. Knocked up without my permission, I must add. Paige was born in March 09 and will be 9 months old in a few days. She has already made her first trip to WDW - in my womb! I was 8 months HUGE and took my dance team to competition. I also brought the rest of the brood alog... it was the first time they had joined me for pom comps. I didn't ride much, but it was still fun!! I did a lot of bench sitting and talking to other guests, and you know what? It was great!! I love people!! Espeically crazy ones, and there is no shortage of those in the world....

That must've been quite a sight. Do you still coach now that you're in TX?

I did at first... Through my extended coaching network (ie - all the other coaches who take teams to WDW each February), I learned of a team here who needed a coach. That is the team I took to WDW in Feb 09. I took on that team for just the remainder of their competition year only, though, and they knew that going in. Practices are usually 3-5pm (after school), and it is hard to swing it with a baby. SO I am now retired and really have no plans to go back. Ever. I may do some cleaning now and then (sometimes coaches will bring in an outside person to "clean up" a routine a week or two before a competition. Fresh eyes are great, and some coaches (like moi) are really good at catching small things like formations and tightness, etc. Also, teams here in TX are not in the habit of paying a professional to do their choreography, which means I have to do it. That is not something I had done before. I would choreograph football game routines, but never competiton routines. In SC we flew someone in and paid him by the hour to choreograph for us.

Ok, I need to stop answering your one line questions with a novella.

Buckle your safety belt and secure all loose articles... here we go!

This is DD, then 3.5, before leaving for our day in Epcot. I think it was approximately 6:38 am right here...

It wouldn't be a TR about Epcot without this obligatory and ubiquitous shot.
IMG_5237.jpg

Ah, can you see by the squidgy-ness of my eyes how little sleep I am getting each night, sharing a bed with DD?
IMG_5244.jpg

You can also see that Baggalini clip digging into my clavicle. Collarbone! Whatever!

Living with the Land... At least 4 times DS told us how much he liked this ride. :confused3 he clearly has a future in horticulture.

MIL is actually engaging with something! Quick: take a picture!

More to follow....

Ah... we all know what this and what the results will be...
IMG_5269.jpg

Wait for it...wait for it....

IMG_5268.jpg

Bwahahaha! I totally told him how good it was for months, just preparing for this day! Victory is sweet!

We spent an inordinate amount of time in Mexico. Maracas, sombreros, margaritas...all of these had to be tried...
IMG_5276.jpg

Ok, so seriously. WHO is in this costume?? Is Dinsey using child labor?
IMG_5302.jpg

I can go ahead and brag freely now, because this was 2 years ago. So, really I am just looking back fondly. Was my baby girl not adorable??
IMG_5309copy.jpg

PS - this pic was taken while we left her with the man on the ECV. And it was really $15 we paid him. So keep your judgement to yourself.

I don't think I mentioned this, but during this trip we found more and more Christmas decorations with each passing day. When we arrived, Nov. 4, there were none. While we slept, magical Christmas fairies flitted in and put up wreaths, garland, trees - you name it.
IMG_5323.jpg

Actually, last night I watched the HGTV Christmas special about Disney holidays, so now I know exactly how the "magic" happens. Is it really "magic" anymore when they make a documentary and peel back the curtain for us?

As of today, we have seen Miyuki's full show at least 12 times and she has never so much as glanced in the direction of my children. When I go with the pom squad, she purposefully chooses people who are standing still, not begging, pick me! pick me! So, I have told my kids to stand still and just smile sweetly. Next time we're going to try jumping up and down while begging.

After a fabulous sushi dinner, DH and I took in the Off Kilter show and a few brewskies while MIL schlept the kids through the Uk and Canada doing those KidCot masks. I knew we invited her for a reason.

Please make sure you have all your belongings and take small children by the hand. This ride is over.

That picture of your daughter on the trip was gorgeous, all three of your kids are so beautiful, but how could they not be? Look at their Mama :goodvibes. Looks like you had a great Epcot day. We just love that park, especially with the Christmas decorations. I am so happy you are back!

You are so sweet!! And since you are the only person here who has actually seen me in the flesh, your kind words mean a lot!! By the way, did I know that you live in Carbondale? Have I told you DH and MIL are from Belleville? MIL still lives there. Are you Cardinals fans??? DH and DS are NUTS about the Cards!

Love it all!

Thanks so much!! Glad to have you here. Pull up a chair and a glass of wine and get ready for me to end this sucker!

Yes, your baby girl is adorable!

you're lucky that you mil was willing to take the kids for awhile....mine, not so much.

Winkers, wait until you hear about what happens next on our last day at AK... MIL took the kids while we rode EE and it does not end well... Sigh.

By the way, I am getting through Jordan's last TR (heavens, that sucker is HUGE) and I am enjoying the adventures of your evil twin, Flat Winkers. Adorable, that Flat Winkers is.

Great start to your Epcot day! I don't know how the "candy lady" chooses. It looked like the children were right in the front and the first one to raise their hand got the animal. :confused3

Yes, your children are beautiful - those eyes! I love how the "Christmas fairies" come out. So cool!

I do the "candy lady" impression all the time while cooking. I saw things like, "Pork chops, so nice. Really hot. Yum Yum."

or

"Baked potato. Sour cream. So nice. Love potato. Cook cook."

When we were there in February a kid asked for Mickey Mouse. She said,

"No Mickey. I do mouse. Mouse is nice. Yum Yum. Candy. I'm a mouse. I love cheese. Yum Yum. So nice."

I have it on tape and the kids and I have practically work a hole in the DVD watching that section over and over. It cracks us up! I wish I would put that lady in my pocket and bring her home with me.

I do that too! Only, "special for you... I make monkey for you... berry nice...monkey, so nice, pink monkey... special for you!"

Now I need to put the candy lady on my to do list! she sounds hysterical!

Winkers - you have never seen candy lady? She so nice. Pretty pretty. Yum Yum. She make candy. For you. Candy for you.

Tammie - you cracked me up! Pink monkey. So nice.

Jordan - you and my DS would get along just fine. We'll just leave the two of you to ride Living with the Land all day.

Jessie - Welcome!

:rotfl: I am loving your TR. Your family is too cute!

I work in a school with many kids who don't speak much English and their parents speak very very very little English. They try so hard, but my daily conversations with them are much like this.
