I can't believe I don't know the answer to this question, but

My sister wants to add my mother to their package for part of the time, including meal plan and ME. Can she do this (MYW package from WDW)? Or does she have to buy her own tickets separately, and be in the room (2 bedroom villa) secretly.

I actually called Member Services about this recently. My parents were going to come for a few days and they told me that all guests in a villa must be on the same meal plan, so they would have to pay for the plan for the entire stay. One CM told me that we could use the extra credits after they left. Another one told me that you can't, but admitted that they can't track who is using them.

Thanks - she's love to go the whole time, but my dad isn't going, and she feels badly about leaving him for 5 nights. I guess she can buy tickets on her own, and pay OOP, or go the whole time.

She won't be eligible for ME unless her name is on the room reservation...and which case she'd have to have the dining plan as well.

I have read on these boards (never tried it, tho) that she can be added to the reservation when they get there. By doing this, she won't need to buy the package.

You can do a search (or ask) on the resorts board and get more info.

Possibly, but no guarantee whether they will insist on the dining plan for the whole time. And no ME to even get to the front desk!

I agree that transportation from MCO to WDW would be a problem, but taking a taxi, renting a car for the day or using Mears at WDW would all be a heck of a lot cheaper than adding her onto the package for the whole time, even when she isn't there to use it.
