Well, 4 weeks is done! I can't believe I did it, there were challenges along the way, but I said no, and kept it up! I get McDonalds today, and I am very excited about it. BUT, I am being smart about it, no super size fries for me. I plan on having a doublecheeseburger mighty kids meal (I need the nemo toy

) that has small fries in it.
I learned that there are certain days were McDonalds is a convenience and those would be good days. Like when we go into the city for a full day, that would be acceptable. But when we are at home, there is really no reason to haul the kids into the car and go to McDonalds. Sandwhiches would be just fine. I still am not sure what to do with work days. I leave work around 6:30 pm. by the time I get home it is 7:30. Very late for me to eat dinner. I have brought dinner with me in the past, but since I barely can wake up in time to get breakfast and lunch together, I know that isn't a permanent solution either. These were the days that I still ate out, but chose Cousins or other options.
Regarding the chips. I always had chips when having a sandwhich. I "couldn't" have one without the other. I learned to make substitutions on this one. this was easier than McDonalds. In fact yesterday while food shopping, I was in the chip aisle, ready to buy potato chips, and I thought it through. there was really no reason for me to buy them. I wasn't planning any meals where I would want them, and to have them in the house I thought would be too big of a temptation, and I don't want to loose my cheat free star!

So I put the box back and told myself that McDonalds is really what I want, the chips can wait till another time.
so, all in all a very good challenge for me, because I did it, and I learned quite a bit about myself!
