We went to IOA on Tuesday 11/23, US on Wednsday 11/24 & IOA/US on Monday 11/29. Tuesday was the most crowded, and it was pretty much empty. 11/23 We finished the park by 3pm and that was even with eating at Confiscos at 11:30am. We rode a few rides again and then changed our Tchoup Chop reservations to earlier.
On 11/24 at US we rode and saw almost every show except two shows (Slime Time & one other). On 11/29 we went to IOA in the morning and rode all our favorites. Almost everything in the park, (Hulk, Dr. Doom, Spidey, Jurrasic park, Dudley Do Right, Unicorn coaster, Dueling Dragons both ice & fire, one fish two fish and the Cat in the hat ride). We also had lunch at Mythos which was our favorite meal of our 2 week vacation. We had a great dish that the chef was testing for New Year's eve (He only made 3 dishes of this meal that day, so after DH and I had it there was only one left). It was wonderful.
At US we rode all our favorites and we closed the park riding The Mummy twice. It was great, and I am glad the lines were so short. I was truley amazed at how little lines there were the week of Thanksgiving. I was really scared because AK & MK were really crowded on Monday (More crowded than I have ever seen them). It was a nice surprise!! The cast members expected the park to be busy on Thanksgiving day.
