First off, the only difference in adding days is a technicality. If these were regular tickets and i was delayed, there would be no issues. These tickets were discounted THROUGH DISNEY, not some shady broker out of the back of a Dodge. So anyone else that is one of "many people get delayed in leaving WDW due to transportation issues" would not be dealing with this. I am not asking for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING! As you can see through a previous poster, this has been done for some and not for others. So as far as being unreasonable, I have to STRONGLY disagree.
I've highlighted the relevant part. The tickets were discounted with restrictions. I'm sorry you can't get your extra days as cheap as those people who paid full price, but that's what happens when you buy at a discount - even through the "official" channel. Again, see my airline ticket example. Same thing. People with nonrefundable tickets purchased throgh the airline do NOT have the same flexibility as those who purchased their tickets as full price. Your request to be treated as someone who paid full price is what is unreasonable.
ETA: And yes, anyone else who purchased their tickets the same way you did and has transportation delays would also not be able to add on to their tickets.
Don't forget to check out the Fort at night! They have a free outdoor movie, I think it's one or two nights a week? Best to check with the front desk. They also have a fire pit where you can make smores. I think there is a small fee for that $5 or so? It's been awhile since I've checked. I thought I read somewhere that they roast marshmallows around the fire pit and tell stories too.

You can tour the grounds, eat at their food court, and take a horse and buggy ride. When you're done, take the boat back to Downtown and the bus back to your resort from there.
