I cancelled our Dec. trip

I am a little bummed out about cancelling, but we just cannot do it this year.
Our DD is starting college..geez what an expense.

Plus, my DH got a call from his folks last night. It seems his mom is not doing well.

Two years ago we went to WDW, then on to Savannah, GA for a family holiday. (Our niece lives there). So, on Christmas day my poor MIL has a major heart attack. She gets through it, and this past March went to the Cleveland Clinic for surgery.
She has, I believe, seven shunts now in her arteries.
It is either six or seven. So, one never knows what her health will be.

It looks like we may be spending the holidays in cold Flint Michigan instead of sunny Florida.

Oh well...I just had them transfer my dates to next Dec...2005.
Hopefully, we can make it then.

Hugs to you Lisa, I feel your pain - DH and I were planning a trip to WDW in Nov. to celebrate our 20th anniv. My parents were going to watch our 2 DS's. Turns out my dad has to have cataract surgery on both eyes, the 2nd eye is scheduled for the day we were supposed to start our trip. So we had to cancel, too. Hope your MIL is ok!

My MIL is a tough lady, but you know age starts to creep up on us.

Amy, sorry to hear about your trip, too.
Hope your dads surgery goes well. But, you know, we will get there, just not right now.

It will make it all the sweeter when we do see that castle!
