I hope to get a rate this morning but having last minute jitters about my ability to upgrade my park hopper to an AP. I've been told here that I could. Quick before the phones open, make me feel better !!!

Yes, you can upgrade an unused PHP to an AP at Guest Services at any of the parks or at DTD. You can not do the upgrade at a resort. If the PHP has been used you only have 7 days from the day of first use to do the upgrade.

Also, if you have a park hopper plus with options, and you've used an option, you will only be allowed to upgrade to a premium annual pass.

It's all a matter of using the correct Disneyspeak:

You can do the upgrade at any Guest Relations location but you cannot do the upgrade at a Guest Services location.

What's the difference? Guest Services is only located at the Disney Resorts. Since they do not sell AP's there, they can't upgrade to them there. Guest Relations is located at the parks and DTD.
