When the BCV were first offered I read the discussions about the best view every day. We picked the woods view the last three trips because it was the quietest. I need a change and I need suggestion for a view change. Only thing is a don't want to be near the Parking lot! So here I am asking the same question that was asked and answered ad nauseum from the past.....OK HERE GOES......What view do you like at the BCV?....Please don't flame me:):):) ............I really am a DIS Veteran........who wants a great room........we can dream can't we? Thanks:):):)

When we stayed at the BCV in August, we had a 2 Bedroom Villa on the 2nd floor. It was overlooking the solarium and the entrance to the Beach Club. When walking into the BCV, if you look up and to the right, that was our room. We thought we were going to hate being there, but it was actually really fun. It was great for people watching! Anways, our family is never too concerned with the view since we are usually in the parks or eating all the time!!

Guess what? There ain't no more "Woods" view. MAYBE there are 10 trees left standing, new name should be swamp view. We were in 322 a couple of weeks ago. Actually, I prefer the "new" look.

Pool view is always our fav though.. I dred the day we get to overlook the driveway to BC .. inappropriately named "garden view"

Hmm, how does one get this counter to spin a tish faster?

okay lots of Dis don't like my favorite view - SPACESHIP EARTH - at Epcot - I had room 561 dedicated studio - but I am pretty certain there is a 2-bedroom close by it.

the problem the service road and the road to BC is also in this view.

I live in a city so ignoring traffic is not a problem for me - for some people it is a BIG problem.

This coming trip we are going to stay in a one bedroom because we have xtra points for another trip. We have always stayed in a 2 bedroom so I am interested in a nice view for a one bedroom(this trip) and a two bedroom in the future. Thanks.

FROZEN FINGERS:I was shocked to hear they took down the trees in the woods view. It really wasn't pretty but was quiet. Why did they do this? I wonder what a swamp view looks like LOL . What area do you like when you request a pool view?

SPICEYCAT: Are there fireworks views that are away from the service road. I know the area you are talking about. It can get noisy with the trucks and it is an eyesore But a great view of Spaceship Earth;

DISNEYANG: I was always afraid I would dislike this view too. Glad to hear it was enjoyable.

The difficult thing about requesting a room at the BCV is that there are problems with all of the views. We love the BCV though and it is our "HOME". We will make the best of whatever we get:) Keep those thoughts coming. Any good ideas for a onebedroom? Thanks guys? :cloud9:

We had a view similar to Spicycat's on our last trip. It was a Studio, 363, and we also live in a city and didn't mind the noise. It is much more peaceful to hear a car every now and then than it is to hear people talking at all hours of the night. We even slept with our balcony open to get the fresh air in the room.

Anyways, the view was FANTASTIC of Epcot and you could see the fireworks at night. Illuminations was awesome to watch from the balcony.

see if you find Doc's originally map of BC - I think there are - but they look at the WS not FW. (I happen to like FW better)

Boardwalk Tigger- I don't think Disney chose to take the trees down. I'm pretty sure that the multiple hurricanes this season are the cause of the loss of trees in this area. I'm pretty sure this is what Frozen Fingers is referring to.

Woods view (or at least it was "woods" view). I could hear the backround music in World Showcase when I was sitting on my balcony-loved that! I'd like to try that (I think it's called) courtyard view-I love people watching and that sounds like fun.

I don't think disney took the trees down ... Mother Nature in the form of hurricanes did. After awhile while walking & driving around, you can tell the effects of the hurricanes.

ErinC was correct; Three ladies with attitude checked in last year and took a lot of the greenery down.

I was always concerned the "woods" in woods view would feel stiffleing (sp) and not allow enough air movement. After this stay though, I really wouldn't have any issues at all staying there again. It still is quiet. but enough foot traffic present so not to be deserted. The morning sun is great to sit and have your morning pot of coffee, but we travel in fall/winter. Might not be so great in summer. Great view of France, and it is real close to the elevators.

I stayed 306 once, a studio with a "dunes view". Mainly parking lot view. I didn't mind that either actually. Great view of the canal and ali the gator. (kept waiting for him to grab a duck, but no such luck) Could still partially see the spa and pool. Although I haven't gotten it yet, I think the ideal room for me would be in that wing though, facing the pool. I love the morning sun. So, third floor, one bedroom, above the breezeway..perfect!

I don't recall the number specifically, 356 keeps popping into my head for some reason.. one bedroom, with lockoff. It was the wing with the walkway to the parking lot. Anyway, had pool view there (our first trip home), It was very nice, but evening sun was a bit harsh. Would not turn it down though !

We just returned from a BCV stay and a 1 bdr, room 546. It looked out over Epcot, and had an INCREDIBLE view of Illuminations. We loved it. I asked for an Epcot view when I made the ressies.

We were in the room next door 443 the first week of Dec.
Your pictures could easily be mistaken for mine it was a nice view.

Our last two stays I have requested Epcot view, upper floor when I made our 11 month ressie, we got it one time but not the other. Dh and I love an Epcot view, upper level because the view can be wonderful and it's usually very quiet (we tune out road noises).
