I Can See Epcot From Here! ~ A November Trip and Dining Report ~

Awe Shelly thank you so much and you did a wonderful job with the taking of the pictures, I enjoyed seeing your DS's having such a good time at the Party. :goodvibes

Awwww what a beautiful update! The pics you took with the "snow" look like real snow. How fun!!!:goodvibes

How cold do you think it was that night? I saw the pic of the lady with the sandals on....
I bet she regretted that shoe decision.

:rotfl2:

I'm with your DS9- Haunted Mansion at night is SCARY!;) It is fun though- gives it a different feel for sure. IDK why- you're inside and don't know that it's dark out. It just feels more spooky.
I feel the same way about POTC. It feels differently to me.

Thanks for the great update.
The party looked like a lot of fun- glad we could live vicariously thru you.

WONDERFUL UPDATES! Your pictures have confirmed I have to go to Disney for the christmas season and party!

I see the parade uses many of the floats from the Christmas Day Parade, and I love watching that! I want to see all that in person!

So it was snowing on Main Street!? Does it snow for most of the night or just during the parade / around parade time?

MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!

P.S. you're lucky the boys christmas wish list kept costs down, our DDs list keeps growing, even today she stated one more thing, I was panicked and tempted to run out and buy it and decide "NO, she has more than enough, and all the things on her wish list"

Epic Mickey was on my wish list :santa:

 Leave it to you to notice the lady's sandals!! I don't know how cold it was. Probably in the upper 40's as the night went on. But it sure felt colder!

I thought POTC felt different at night too! I liked it! Too bad I didn't get to do the Haunted Mansion at night.

Glad you enjoyed the update! :santa:

Yes, everyone should get to Disney during the holidays at least once! :goodvibes

I think the snow might have started during the parade and then continued the rest of the night.

Merry Christmas to you! :santa: I hope you get Epic Mickey!!

I think I will take a brief TR break and post some Christmas pictures instead. It seems like it's pretty much a ghost town around here anyway!!

Hope you enjoy!

I wasn't going to share these until later in the TR, since I bought them later in the trip. But it's Christmas Eve, so I am going to go ahead!!

This is the ornament set I bought at DTD. I just love them!:lovestruc

And some of my favorite non-Disney ornaments.

Christmas2010030.jpg

Got this one the year DS9 was born.

Got this for DS11 when he scored his first soccer goal. I personalized the back with his name & the date of the goal and everything!

:santa: Merry Christmas! :santa:

Merry Christmas !

Love that ornament set, your puppy looks so cute there under the tree, I swear mine has been trying to lay under ours this year and she has had a hard time since it is only 2 feet high and on an end table, but I swear she has been laying on her blanket infront of the fireplace with her head under the table

Your DS(11) did great on the air guitar and the shirt tail being out made him look the part all the more

Merry Christmas!! :santa:
All those ornaments look great - I'm going to have to start a collection.
It will be a few days before I can post the recipe for Tonga Toast - I'm away with family for the holidays. I'll try to post on December 28th when I get back!
I leave you with some carolers singing "Jingle Bell Rock" - my brother's favourite Christmas carol: :dance3:

Love those ornaments! Hopefully they'll still have them in a few weeks!
Merry Christmas to the Shelly family!!
Merry Christmas to you! :santa:

Thanks, I hope you can get a set of ornaments!

My dog loves laying under the tree. I swear he thinks we put it up just for him! :rotfl:

Thanks! I'll tell DS you enjoyed his performance!!

Thanks for the Christmas Carol! :cool1:

Shelly, I hope you and your family, as well as all your TR readers, had a most wonderful Christmas!

Thank you for sharing the stories and pictures from your trip with all of us. I am enjoying every minute of it! These recent updates have been especially fun with it being Christmastime. Those pictures of the castle in changing colors and the Holiday Wishes pics were just beautiful! It really made me want to experience Disney during the holiday season, cold weather and all!

Now, I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow morning and not go shopping for at least a month!

I'm so glad you are enjoying the TR. There's still several days to go! :cool1:

Great MVMCP pics and ornament pics!!! Disney looks like so much fun at Christmas! Someday... :rolleyes1

Loved the Snow Day video. You can't do an air guitar solo with your shirt tucked in anyway. ;)

I just love your ornaments! Do they sell those all year long?

Thanks Kim! :goodvibes I hope you get to WDW at Christmastime someday soon!! :wizard:

Yeah I guess you're right, the air guitar thing wouldn't have been the same if he was all tucked in! :rotfl:

I just love your ornaments! Do they sell those all year long?

Thanks! :santa: I don't know if they sell that particular set all year or not. I got it at the World of Disney store in DTD and I think they only have most of their Christmas stuff out seasonally, but you might want to check the Christmas Store in DTD.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I just watched your son in the choir video and it just made my day. Nothing better than starting out with a wild air guitar video.;)

How was everyone's Christmas? :santa: I hope everyone had a wonderful and blessed day with family and friends.

We had a pretty great day here. The kids got lots of Pokemon and Star Wars stuff. Plus lots of games for Wii and Nintendo DS's. I got to play Epic Mickey once and it was pretty fun. A little more violent than I expected for Mickey, but still fun!

I got some gift cards and clothes and 2 new books. They are both Disney books! I got Kingdom Keepers II (I just read the first one this fall) and I got Project Future: The Inside Story Behind The Creation of Disney World. I started Project Future on Christmas day, but of course didn't get enough time to get very far. But it is very good and very interesting so far.

I might take down the Christmas decorations today. I know, I'm a scrooge!! I put everything up on Thanksgiving (or around then) each year, so by the time Christmas gets here I am ready for it to come down. So I might get started on that and maybe get back to the TR here and get an update up! I hope there's someone here reading today!!! :yay:

YAY, there is someone here today!! :yay:

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas too Lisa! :santa: Glad you enjoyed the video. I have watched it about a dozen or so times and it is still funny! :lmao:

I'm around today! Working, but still manage to pop on to the boards. I love those "park icon" ornaments. Are they heavy? I have some that really weigh down the branches on the "real" tree.

Your son's air guitar was great! I bet he's pretty proud he did such a great job!
