I have been lurking and checking things out around here and I can not wait to join you all. I am going to be induced either tomorrow or Wednesday, so I figure in about 6 weeks I will be a WISHer. After DS#1 I did WW and when he was 6 months old I weighed 15 pounds less than my prepregnancy weight. Then, I fell off the wagon. I am pretty close to the same weight I was when I had DS#1 (toooooo much!!) so once the normal pregnancy weight goes away I figure I will have between 40-50 pounds to lose. I will be nursing and doing WW. My biggest downfall will be getting in exercise with a newborn and a toddler (DH works full time--firefighter--and is in school full-time, so he is not here a lot of the time).

I am so impressed with the great posts and the uplifting spirit on this board! I can not wait to be a part of this big group of losers:tongue:

Best of luck to tommorrow. I just went threw this a year ago. (I had my DD while DS was 2.5) When the weather warms up you will WANT to get both kids in a stroller and go out walking. So much easier to get the baby to nap IMO. :Pinkbounc

Hi Christy, welcome to WISH. Congratulations on your upcoming arrival! We look forward to you joining us and will help you along the way and way we can.

Hiya Christy ~

Welcome to Wish. Hope everything goes well for you tomorrow. You are in good company with the rest of us losers.

Good Luck sap......I too know what its like to have no time. I had 4 kids in 8 years and hubby works alot ( gotta make that extra $ for the world lol) anyway, your best bet would be to exercise at home! I currently have two at home with me while two are in school. I still find it hard to get to the gym! Most of the time I relyon my neighbor or borther in law to sit while I go to curves. But do my walk away the pounds tape right here at home while baby is sleeping or even just playing. Good luck to you and the nursing will definitly help in the weight loss.

Your story sounds familiar. In fact it's just what happened to me, except I have 2 DD's. I am working on excersising right and eating sensibly to help get rid of those no longer wanted pregnancy pounds. You can do it! As samandmom said, as the weather gets warmer you will want to get them in the stroller and walk. In fact I am waiting for just that as DD 1 (who is five ) goes to the local Montessori school from 9-12 and I figure that DD#2 and I will do some great walking in that time. If you can find a friend with kids (or without) who can walk with you. I know having a friend on nights I run helps me to get out of the house and just go wether I feel like it or not I always feel like hanging out with a friend. Congrats on your new arrival! My niece just had her new DS Saturday so I can definately feel the excitement!

Kelly:bounce: jumping for joy for the new baby (does this count as exercise lol)

Hi Christy,
Welcome to WISH and welcome soon to the new baby. Keep in touch with us. Did you know that they have a nursing mothers program for WW's? I did it with my first daughter 11 years ago. You get to eat more, they especially want you to eat dairy, etc. Actually, it works pretty good because you get to learn to eat proper nutrition.

Again welcome,

Welcome, Christy! And congratulations on your new arrival! :D :D You may not be able to find time for exercise, but you will be plenty active, chasing a toddler and caring for the baby!

I'm looking forward to seeing you around, soon!!:Pinkbounc :jumping3: (one pink & one blue bouncy, so were covered whether the baby's a boy or a girl!)
