I went to Disney last weekend. And I have decided to go THIS weekend too!

No way I could have pulled that off in Seattle. :)

Well, its certainly nothing compared to my Orlando pals who can go anytime they want, but for me in Sarasota, its a big deal! :goodvibes

I think you have the best of both worlds...Sarasota is beautiful, I would love to live there...plus you are not far from the parks at all! Have Fun :sunny:

It really is cool, isn't it?! I was going to go up today but decided to wait and go next week. I'm off to Cypress Gardens tomorrow to see Brenda Lee in concert. I caught her act many years ago in Boston at the old free concerts on city hall plaza. I can't tell you what a trip it was to hear 50,000 people sing Rockin Around the Christmas Tree in July!

So, yeah, today or next week... what's the difference? I still get the giggles driving from my house to enjoy Disney for the day. :)

Like you, there was no way I could pull that off when I lived in Massachusetts.

Oh, I know it is. We actually drove to Siesta Key this morning before I came to work (I don't normally work Fridays) It was as beautiful as ever. :) But its going to start getting really crowded here very soon! So I will just have to go to Disney more. LOL.

Jealous.......
But happy for ya!

I love being able to go over to the parks anytime I want. AP expires today so I checked while I was there and I went 82 times this year. Last year went 86 times. :) They didn't make any money on me this year.

I love that feeling! :goodvibes Sometimes we just decide at the last minute to go over to Seaworld or Universal for the evening. I love being able to do things without planning!

82 times??? I don't think I will be able to say that by the end of the year but if I am lucky I will be at 10. :) Which is twice my Seattle record by the way, so I can't complain.

When we moved here three months ago from VA I told my DH that I wanted 3 things: a Disney AP, Universal AP and a house with a pool. Well, I'm still looking for the house with the pool but I love going to the parks. We go to have lunch or dinner at the Food and Wine Festival at least once a week. I'll be sad when that is over. Florida rules!

Next up.....palmetto bugs!

i'll be joining all you lucky people in a year hopefully!! my husband graduates next month and i graduate next dec. if i'm lucky. heck, even if i can't, we'll still move!! :sunny: :earseek: i miss palm trees!!!!!!!
