That is wonderful that you are enjoying your workouts so much! It makes it much easier to stick to it. Keep it up and those pounds will come flying off!

Did you ever find plane tickets for your trip home?
 
What a day! I went to the Dr. this morning and I am scheduled for a CAT scan on Monday morning. She thinks that I have an intestinal blockage...not good. A hernia would have been easier to take care of. I have to quit pilates because it puts too much pressure on the blockage. I can still do the step class, though. Either way, I am looking at surgery in the next few weeks.

We have not gotten our plane tickets yet, Amy. We are waiting for DH's sign-on bonus to come in next week. I hope that we don't have to wait much longer, because the planes are filling up fast!

Breakfast-grilled cheese (7 pts)

Lunch-fish (5 pts), peas (1 pt) and mashed potaotes (2 pts)

Snack-fudge pop (1 pt)

That only leaves me 4 pts for dinner. I will probably go over today.
 
How are you doing today? I hope all goes well with your test on Monday and that whatever it is, it can be fixed and is nothing major.

Keep up with the exercise as much as you can, you can get through this!! :flower:
 
Sorry to hear about your appointment but I guess it is better knowing what it is than not knowing and glad they are doing a CAT scan to find out for sure. Did you discuss surgery at all or she is waiting to see what the scan is? I'm sure she's probably going to wait but I was curious.

Glad to hear your mom is trying to get healthy too. You two can be great support for each other. I know what you mean about WDW. We are going to Hilton Head in April for Easter and I want to go now. I feel so good that I can't wait to get out on the beach and just feel better. But I know by April I will be so much more healthier than I am now so waiting is best and part of it I guess :( :)

I have given myself a day off of dieting today. I have been under a lot of stress in the past week, so I needed to take a break. I'm not going to write down what I ate today, but I will get back on track tomorrow.
 
What a day! I'm glad that it's almost over. DH has drill this weekend, so he will be gone tomorrow, too. I got my acceptance to the college here today. I have been working on financial aid online a good bit of the day. I keep having to get up and do something for the kids. Without the interruptions, I could have been done in an hour or so! I have been trying to eat better today. I think that I have done pretty good.

Breakfast-Cheerios and milk...I poured a bowl of cereal, thought about how much it was, and put about half of it back. I may have eaten 1 1/2 servings with skim milk. Now that I have gone to skim, nothing else tastes right to me!

Lunch-I made lasagna...actually, I CREATED lasagna. It was SOOOOO good. I used low fat ricotta and low fat motz cheese. I tried not to dive into the pan, but I still ended up eating a little more than I needed. I wanted a salad with it, but no lettuce. I have got to get to the grocery store and get some veggies.

Dinner-Schwan's has these great chicken fries. They are 3 pts for 8 of them. Yummy!

Snack-1 pt fudge bar

I don't think that I went over too much today. I hope to make it to step class on Monday. I'll have to work harder to get my exercise in now that I had to quit pilates. I am going to attempt WATP tomorrow. I hope that everyone is having a great weekend!! I will get to journals tomorrow afternoon!! :flower:
 
Today has started out much calmer! I am trying to eat better. I can tell that TOM is on the way, because I am hurgry all the time! I just ate a sandwich, but I could eat this computer right now, I am so hungry. I've got to get to the store for some healthier food.

Breakfast-some leftover lasagna...I only ate half of what I put on my plate...eyes bigger than stomach :earseek: ...I ate about as much as in one of the frozen dinners...(8 pts)

Lunch-PB&J (5.5 pts)...I actually measured out the Pb and Jelly...I was eating more than I thought!!

That leaves 6.5 pts for the rest of the day. Tomorrow I won't eat as many pts because I have the CAT scan in the morning and won't be eating until lunch. I hope that I can get to step class tomorrow night.

You have such an awesome attitude! I love the fact that you took a day off and don't feel guilty - just get back on track the next day. It is so inspiring!!

I hope you can find a different class that will take the place of Pilates. Will you be able to restart it once you are all fixed up?

Hang in there, you are doing great! Good luck at the Dr tomorrow, I hope whatever they find is easy to correct!
 
Thanks, Amy! I'm working on it. My SIL told me that I was complaining too much, so I have decided to try harder to be HAPPY!! We are working on out Dec 2007 trip and I'm getting excited about that. We decided on Universal, Magic Kingdom and SeaWorld. We did an "all out Disney" trip this year, and we want to change it up a little for the next trip. We want to stay at the Nickelodeon Hotel in Orlando. Am I a deserter for not staying on Disney property?? I can't believe that we still have 2 YEARS!! It will be here before we know it, though.

I went over in points a little today, but I started over with flex points yesterday. I go from Saturday to Saturday because I can keep up with my mom that way. She weighed in yesterday and lost 3.2 pounds!! I have some catching up to do!

Breakfast- 8 pts

Lunch- 5.5 pts

Dinner-bologna sandwich (haven't had one in a long time) 6 pts
Cheese Puffs (I have got to get these things out of my house!!) 4 pts

Total-23.5 pts...not as bad as I thought...I may have figured the lasagna too low, but I really didn't eat that much. I haven't been on the scale in a few days. TOM is looming, and I am expecting to start gaining here soon.
 
Oh Happy Day!! :sunny: :sunny: I am FINALLY under 130 pounds!! I haven't been below 130 in FOREVER!! I WILL NOT GO BACK! I WILL NOT OVEREAT!!

I haven't had breakfast yet, and I am starving. I'll get to eat when I get home later.

Thanks guys!! I meant to get to everyone's journals today, but the stuff they gave me for the test has made me sick! :sick: I had to drink 2 LARGE cups of this disgusting concoction that looked like Sprite and tasted like pond water. It has made my stomach really upset today. I had to have an IV, too. (little background info...I HATE IV'S!!!) He tried to put it in the back of my hand first...and it didn't work. After he moved it around some, I told him to take it out. Once I peeled myself off of the ceiling, he started putting it in my arm. Again, he had to move it around some before he got it in. He said that I have thick skin and small veins. I don't believe that I have ever had an IV go in on the first try. That was one of the reasons (be it minor) that I decided against having more children. I hate getting stuck with needles. Other than that, the test went good. I should get the results in a few days.

Breakfast-2 large cups of fizzy pond water

Lunch-8 chicken fries (3 pts), some Rice-A-Roni (4 pts), and some peas (1 pt)

Dinner-PB&J (5 pts)

Snack-fudge pop (1 pt)

Total...14 pts...I am going to try step class tonight. I'm not going to push it too hard, but I need to get my blood flowing to feel better. I don't want to eat too much before I go to exercise, so I'll eat something small when I get back. I need to eat about 6 more pts. :flower:

I swear, my body has a mind of it's own. I was commenting to my mom this morning about how great I've been feeling the past few days. I made it through step class last night (love it, love it, love it!!) with no problems and was still down on the scale this morning. I decided to go to WalMart and get a few things...and the pain hit me before I could finish shopping. Now here I sit, in the first chair I could find. It's starting to ease off a little, and I've got to get out and finish running some errands that need to be done today. So much for my nice, relaxing day!!

Breakfast-Turkey and Cheese Lean Pocket (yuck!) (6 pts)

Have no plans for lunch yet. I may do a bowl of cereal or something. I got some potatoes this morning, so I'll be back on a potato kick this week!
 
That stinks that you have to wait a couple days to find out what is wrong! Can you take Advil or something when you get these fits of pain?

Sounds like you are still eating well (and even exercising!) amidst all this medical drama. Keep that up as much as you can, ok? I hope you feel better soon! :hug:
 
Guys, I am going to be signing off for a while. I'll pick back up soon. Things are really getting stressful around here, and I need a break. I am trying to work with my DH so that we can move back to SC. DS is having some trouble at school with the other kids picking on him, and it's a lot to deal with. YOU DON'T PICK ON AN AUTISTIC KID!! My protective mother instinct has taken over and I need to focus on him. I will not stop watching what I eat. I will still maintain my workouts. I just need to take some time to regroup. Thanks to everyone for all of the support.
