I bought the Lowes gift cards off of Ebay

Ok, so I took the plunge and bought $400 worth of gift cards for Lowes through PayPal Digital Gifts for $370. Just waiting for them to sent to my email.

Ok, so I got the gift cards and the dishwasher. Here is the breakdown.

Regular price - $599.99

Sale price- $449.99- ($480.43-total with tax)

Total paid discounted gift cards- $450.43- ( I may also get a discount off of this price with my GE employer, will find out after delivery)

There are tons of people selling 10% off coupons on ebay too. Sellers usually them in lots of 5 for around $5.00. We just bought all new kitchen appliances in June and saved about $450 with the coupons.

Don't forget about ebates too

its a lot of math and playing around but u can get quite a bit off. You can buy $200 lowes gc for $185(8% off). depending on what card u get, you can get another 5% off with credit card. You might even get some ebay bucks points and ebates. one poster suggest buying a 10% off coupon for like $5 on ebay, saves u more when u buy something expensive.

I couldn't pay for them with a credit card at all. I tried. I had to go through Paypal with my checking account.

it defaults to checking account. You should be able to change to a credit card. I recently bought an itunes card through them about a month ago. works fine...

I tried that as well. It would not accept a credit card for payment.

PLease be careful that they are actual Lowe's gift cards and not merchandise cards. Lowe's gets hit big with people who steal merchandise, and return it for the cards to sell online
