Well said! Everytime something goes wrong, I blame myself and wonder what I could've done to prevent the disaster. But now (after 3 years), I'm finally starting to realize that things just happen. I just have to make sure that I handle them well.

So congrats on your new house! Try to take pictures so you can look back at how it looked when you moved in. I'm so happy that you are soooo close to WDW!!! That's the icing on the cake!

I'm so excited I just needed to share.

After renting all of these years, I finally made the "grown up" move to purchase a house at the tender age of 33

I got pre-approved for a mortgage a couple of weeks ago and I was so disappointed when all of the houses I kept seeing were, well, crappy. But finally, on Friday, I saw the most beautiful and perfect house. I knew I had to put in an offer. After some counter offers (and 2 other competing offers!) the seller decided to sell it to me!

The home inspection is on Thursday and the planned closing is Dec 29th. That will give us a full month to paint and move since we have to be out of our apartment at the beginning of February.

The best part? Just a short 15 minute drive to Disney World!

Now we know whos home to stay at when we go there. hehe j/k.
