I booked through a DVC member

So im due in at the World May 2nd. We booked through a friend who is a DVC member. He never gave me a confirmation number but we did receive our Magical Express packet directly to us. DVC member says since I received the booklet I am all set but I feel i would need confirmation number to check in. Is there another way to get this info? Am I "all set"? Feedback please

It shouldn't be a problem, all you should need is your Driver's License or Photo ID. But, your friend should have provided you with a confirmation number just in case there happens to be a problem at the front desk. Computer glitches, or human error (name misspellings) can happen.

Online check in is available and you need the number.

If I'm not mistaken your confirmation # should be on your ME tag. It should be a really long string of numbers (12 digits). But someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm looking at my ME tags right now and it has my ressie #. BUT, this tag is for a non DVC stay. That's why I'm not sure about yours.

I have a DME tag left over from a trip in January. There are two long numbers on the tag. Neither of them match my DVC confirmation number. However, as a test I used the first of the two numbers (the one right below the date) on www.mydisneyreservation.com/dvc along with the check-in date, resort name and my last name and my reservation came up! So it looks like you might be able to use the number on the DME tag for online check in.
