I had a business meeting today down in LA... So as I was walking out of the house I said to myself.... Self.. .should you grab the camera bag... To which I replied... No I won't have anytime for pictures so why bother....

Well meeting got out early... Guess what was between me and the OC airport.... 2 hours in Downtown Disney..... Man I wish I didn't listen to myself so well.

HATE when that happens!

If I'm going to be in FL for ANY REASON WHAT SO EVER, I bring any remaining WDW passes. Paid off one time. Visiting DMIL. They dropped us off at MCO for flight home & they left. Then we find out flight has been cancelled. Airline puts us up in hotel for the night, with free meals & transfers. Hmmmm, what to do. Rent car at MCO, eat that free meal & head to Downtown Disney for a night of Disney Quest. :thumbsup2

HEHeheheheheee,
Always bring the cam!
I can not tell you how many times i have driven home looking at a beautiful sunset and had not brought the cam, grrrrrrr.

i always bring the camera on trips - especially ones so near Disney

I was driving home from work last week and as I came onto a small lake I saw a moose step into the water but did I have my camera with me? No!! :furious:

I almost always have a camera on me, even around town - by default, I have my trusty Sony DSC-S40 with me, a small 4MP point-and-shoot that takes pretty decent photos and has an amazing battery life. I carry it in a small backpack that I usually take along when I go out. (It also contains my cellphone, PDA, extra batteries, and other assorted necessities - there just aren't enough pockets in my pants!). This allows me to capture very important events, like a spur-of-the-moment bun-and-butter face. :)

I rarely have nightmares, but for probably almost 20 years or so, I occasionally have a recurring nightmare of going to WDW without my camera. Now that our upcoming trip is on the mind a lot, I had one a month or so ago... sigh!

I hope that nightmare never comes true! :teeth:

My wife carries a Minolta Dimage X (2mp, 3x zoom) in her purse and takes it everywhere. It doesn't get TOO much use but it's always there, just in case. It's pretty small (when it was bought a few years ago, it was the smallest digicam that didn't use a proprietary battery) and handy to have around. I have no equivalent camera and ebayed my old PnS cameras so I don't have that ability. Besides, I don't carry a purse! :)
