And she said in her recent talks with Disney they said that if you are an AP holder they e-mail you with passhodler rates 24-hours before they release the information. Interesting... Anyone get any good e-mails lately? :)

On a sad note, she also informed me that she will be retiring from travel the end of next week. :(

I'm a passholder and I've never been e-mailed with the rates period...

I have actually had e-mails from them - but it was never for anything we wanted/needed.

I'll believe it this time around when I see it..

We bought our first AP's in October and did receive the e-mail a day before the last set of codes came out. We are waiting for the July range and couldn't use the info for that period. Hope they do it again.

I've had an AP for two years, DH for one year, and we've never gotten an email like that! I book through DU and let them apply discounts and codes and whatever else so that I don't have to worry about it.

I got one the day before about AP rates, I think it was for fall dates so it didn't apply to me.

I usually get them the day before, but in Dec. it didn't help since by the time I saw the e-mail it was already posted here and I didn't get the discount. I did however, get discounts for my August and Sept. trips because of the e-mails.

We have been AP holders for 4 years and never receive an e-mail. Anyone know how to be sure we receive this e-mail?

I'd say be sure your email is registered on their website would be a good start. We got the email about the winter AP rates (still heard about it here first tho). I may also pay to make sure it does not end up caught in your spam filter.

I have had a PAP for two years and I am registered on the Disney Site. I have completed surveys in the parks and email surveys once I returned home and still have never received an email notice about codes!!! Hope this time is the first of many :earboy2:

I could be remembering this wrong, but I believe the CM at the Epcot gate where we exchanged our vouchers asked us for an e-mail address.
The spam comment is true, I don't know what I've missed from Disney just because I usually only open up e-mail I recognize and DISNEY was not what I saw when I hit delete.
Whether they send an e-mail this time or not, I know I won't find what we need without more weeks of constant calling and then suddenly it'll be there. I have faith. :)

We stayed at WL the last week of August 2003 due to an e-mail with a good AP rate.
Prior to that we had received a postcard rate a year before then. We were not able to use that.
January 2004 we moved here. Haven't had any rate offers since. :scratchin
We most likely would not use it anyway.
Funny thing we moved into our home almost a year ago. Right after we moved in the previous homeowners DID receive a postcard rate, which was not forwarded to them. So Disney does mail rates to "locals" too.

The times we received a postcard/e-mail rate we had a Disney vacation around three months or more prior and did not have a future vacation planned. I always wondered if that was how we were targeted.

We have gotten the e-mails the day before rates are out since we activated our current APs last May. Never got them with any APs we had prior to that though. Not sure why we get them now as we all activated our APs separately so I'm not sure how they got our info. I can understand me, but when asked for his e-mail address my husband always says no cause he doesn't want spam, so I know if they asked him when he activated his he would have said no (he did it at Epcot). I did mine at MK and don't remember them asking for my e-mail address. My mom did hers at MK too (the day after mine) and if they had asked for her e-mail she would have given them her own, but her discount e-mails come to one of my e-mail addresses. So who knows why we get them and others don't. We've also gotten some e-mail postcards, including one sent to my cousin at my e-mail address (no name on it, just said it was non-transferable to my e-mail address only) that they would not let me use!! Talk about frustrating!

We always get the e-mail. Last time I got the e-mail, and I called for resies, they said they had no value rooms at the rate. After suggesting she checked again and holding on the phone for 30 minutes, she found a room at the advertised rate.

I just bought APs in December and got the e-mail as well. But it was on the DIS before I got the e-mail so I am sure they send them in batches so as not to kill their servers.

I tried to register on the Disney AP web page but it kept giving me a strange error. (redirecting to the same page..??) I just figured I would keep an eye on the boards and Mousesavers.

I think this board is the BEST place to get info. I have received info here much quicker than anywhere else due to everyone being so helpful.
I rely on here first... then mousesavers. :cool1:

On the last round of AP discounts, my mother received and email at my email address informing her of the rates 24 hours before they were released. But, I never received that email and we bought our annual passes at the same time & activated them the same trip!!! The only thing I can come up with is we booked our November 04 trip in her name and I gave them my email address. However, she didn't have her AP when the trip was booked so who knows. Another one of the great Disney mysteries......

I've never gotten an email rate either and I'm an AP holder registered on their site. The last postcard rate we received was right before we moved to Celebration so we didn't use it. Now that we're back in Texas we don't get them anymore. :)

I have recieved emails the night before AP rates were released the last two times. Hopefully I will recieve one this time too.
