I am very disappointed.

Yesterday I posted a new thread under Disney restaurants about something I was considering doing on our next trip and not one person posted a reply to help me. I have read many posts from people on threads that although they haven't experienced the topic , they have posted their thoughts on the subject to try to help the person. I don't want to ramble on, I'm just thinking maybe posting this will ease my disappointment.
:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

I'm sorry you didn't get the responses you were hoping to get to help you with your question. Perhaps you could try bumping up your thread and asking again for responses.

I would suggest bumping up your question also....Hopefully someone will answer you. :goodvibes

I will be going over there soon, will check out your post.

Totally understand; sometimes I post and am lucky to get 10 responses; and then I wonder why some have sooooooooooooooo many....I cannot lose sleep over it :goodvibes

Keep the faith in the Disboards though!

Same happens with me sometimes. My husband and I joke around that everyone has put me on "ignore". ;)

Oh do I understand, sometimes I have to get sarcastic to get a response. One thing that irritates me is when I see someone ask a simple question and there will be numerous post after ...no one answering. (I do answer!)

Well you titled this one right. It's being replied to. I will check your restaurant thread out. I haven't been there for a while.

I think this board gets so many posts, that it's easy for one to quickly drop a couple of pages if not bumped depending on the time of day you post. When I get on I just hit New Posts-- it only takes a few minutes for a new post to not show up on that first page if it hasn't been replied to. I wouldn't take it personally-- that happens sometimes.

Don't worry! It happens all the time. I used to take it personally, but then I realized that sometimes my posts just don't 'sync' with other DIS'sers. It's a random thing - you never know who is online and who will read your posts! So, like other people said, if you don't get the response you want/need - try again! :thumbsup2

Have a great day!

Its probably because you just cant read every single thread on the board (I only have an hour at lunch time to look on the net!), and as we all have different interests not every post appeals to me and therefore I dont open it to find out.

Ive recently posted a thread to get ideas for a pressie in this room and i've only had 2 replies, but dont get disheartened

Yeah, you and me both :teeth: I don't start many threads, but if one that I did start isn't getting responses, I'll bump it by pouting "Doesn't anybody like me?" Even if the response is "No, nobody likes you", at least it's a response :)

From what I gather, this Gulliver's is at Swan & Dolphin? I've never been there & my guess is that no one else who read the thread at that time ate there either. Hard to reply to a thread if you have no experience there. Plus, it was only 3 hours or so. Give it some time, bump it, and why would you take it "personally"? It's just a message thread that no one could speak to at the time. Just relax. You'll get some info.

Why not? I got someone nice to help me.

dunno, jus making new threads to get a question answered on another board is considered spam on a lot of internet forums, not here though obvisouly!

Serious i got banned for doing that on xbox website.
