...I have so many friends who want to come and stay with us but are a little leary about it. Asking for some down nr payment is a very good way to make sure you don't waste(not that anything as SSR OR DISNEY is a waste) your points and dissapoint our kids!

We invited friends for the marathon, my husband's running buddy and his family. We stayed in a two bedroom at OKW and they loved it. They were going to stay at All Stars, but their daughter is now 4 and couldn't have five, we offered our villa, they accepted. They offered money but we told them no, our treat.

We've been very lucky with friends and family. No one has backed out yet.

We want to take my Mom and Dad down to a two bedroom for DM's 65 Bday. She keeps him/hawing over it. They have a huge travel trailer and said they would rather stay in that. We want them to have a little vacation away from that and fly down with us. My mom has never flown because they have this **!#* trailer. She is a great women and I'd like to treat her once and a while.

My Dad just turned 70 and is the same way about their motorhome. Anyhoo, maybe you could plan a great trip around Ft. Wilderness. You could stay at VWL or use your points for a Wilderness Cabin.

The activities at Ft. Wilderness sound like fun. Its a different vacation for sure, but Mom and Dad will be thrilled that you thought to make the trip fun on their terms and not yours.

Having you and the other children and grand children around and having a good time together will be a treat for Mom. A carriage ride or fireworks cruise might add a little more magic to the trip as well.

As far as getting Mom to fly and relax, maybe the guys could drive the travel trailer down, and the girls can fly down. Mom could stay in a villa for a couple of days before the trailer gets to WDW.

Think creatively and keep Mom's wishes in mind and everything will be o.k.
