I am SOOO frustrated!

Today is another good Ding day.

There is a later flight available on my departure day, same price....but I can't change the flight without cancelling the entire itinerary, because there is no place to enter the ding! code online when you change a flight.

I originally booked the flight as round trip, so I am stuck.

what I did last week was to enter all my info into ding like I was purchasing...
to make sure flights were available...

THen I opened a second window in explorer to cancel the first flights which will leave you with a credit....

You can then switch back to the first ding window and pay by entering the credit code to pay for the new flight...

and then you're all set........

not if I only want to change one leg of the trip. The day we leave, September 29 is sold out on the Ding fares. The cheapest available flight that day is much more than the $39 I orginally booked. I would have to re-book the entire flight, costing me $400 more....there is no place to enter the ding promotional code when you change your flight online.

Lesson learned on my part. Since it isn't any cheaper to book a RT flight on SWA, I am going to start booking my flights as 2 one-way flights. That way, if a ding is available for only part of the trip, I won't lose out

For $30 (give or take) and an hour, I got a little too worked up, LOLOL...

ahhh...didn't realize your first flight was sold out...

Our flights were booked as one way....(my husband had free credits for the outgoing flights for two of us) so it made it easier to change...
