I am SOO Scared

I'm trying not to panic but when I'm out and I see a white van, I immediately freeze. I'm so scared that something's going to happen to me or to someone I love. I wish they'd hurry up and get the sniper (not that I mean to imply that they're dragging their feet on this.)

All of you are in my thoughts everytime I see another report on TV about the sniper. I can't even imagine living with the kind of fear you guys are facing.

Getting to know people from all over on the Dis seems to make the world smaller for me. No matter where something is happening chances are I now know someone who lives there thanks to the Dis.
I'll keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

There is something we can all do. Be more aware. Be more vigilant of our surroundings.

Hey fellow Virginians, Marylanders and DCers - if you see a white van take down its plate number and its location. If you see anything strange, take notes. It can't hurt, and who knows, it may help. And, God forbid, if anyone on these boards is a witness to the sniper or an attack, write down EVERYTHING, even if you have to write it on your hand or clothes. Your memory fades after the intial incident and you become more susceptible to prompting by others. And everybody, stay safe!
