I am so sorry!!!! Another DME question....

We are going to wdw next month with 14 family members for our wedding/honeymoon. Everyone will be taking DME but us, including my ds who is on our reservation. We need a rental car. Can we send all of our luggage on DME? We will have more than just two pieces total.

Yes. Make sure others in your party takes 'responsibility' for your luggage, i.e., include your pieces when they give the count to the CM at the Welcome Center. And as long as you've yellow-tagged each piece,,, and it helps if you're all staying at the same resort. Your bags will likely go to their rooms.

Yes, as long as someone else in your party has extra yellow sticker tags. Everyone on DME has an allotment of 2 bags, one sticker per bag, so as long as there's spare tags (someone is only checking one bag), you can use theirs for your bags. If there aren't enough spare tags, then you're out of luck for the remaining pieces. As the previous poster mentioned, it'll end up going to their rooms since their names will be on the tags. Hopefully you're all staying at the same resort so you don't have to run all over WDW trying to retrieve your bags!

But the big picture is that it doesn't go by person, it goes by reservation number. Even if only one person from a reservation number rides the DME bus, Disney says they will transport ALL of the luggage associated with that reservation number. Now I'm sure there's more than just one reservation number for 14 people ... but all you need to do, to follow Disney's publicized rules, is make sure that there's someone with your reservation number who will be riding the bus, and you'll be fine. There is no matching up of names on the tags and names of people riding the bus.

LOL!!! No I am afraid we are not!!!

Yes we are all different reservation numbers and staying at the same resort. My ds will be travelling on DME with everyone else but I am guessing only two luggage tags will come since he is the only one with the dme ressie. We will use others extras to get all of our bags to the resort!

Put the yellow Disney tags on them and they will be in your room at the Disney resort you have chosen.
