It's 1:40 in the afternoon, but you would think it's 1:40 am as tired as I am. I was diagnosed with mono almost 3 weeks ago. I am still so tired all the time, especially in the afternoons. I also had strep that has gone away, but I still have a bad sore throat. My glands are swollen in my neck and that causes my ears to hurt. The headaches have subsided finally. Those were horrible!
I just want to sleep. Luckily, no one has come around the corner and busted me with my eyes closed at my desk. Yesterday, I went to the restroom to sit on the toilet (albeit pants up) and took about a 5-7 minute nap. I couldn't help it. I literally could not hold my eyes open. What makes it worse is I even got more than 8 hours sleep the night before. Will I ever get back to normal?

I'd say give it a couple of more weeks. But, at least you have been diagnosed. Just after DH and I got married, I got it, and went six months without being diagnosed! That was horrible to say the least. And, my employers had the gall to stay on my case about being sick all the time, knowing that they were keeping it quiet that mono was going around! Dogs!
